Major evasion while being forced to remain in a short AoE radius is balanced. Same thing with NB's Blur which is -class- exclusive ability.
Shuffle needs to be removed or re-worked.
That's contradictory. Stamblades would just use Blur and not change much. Sabre already prefers Mirage for the bonus defensive stats and magicka sink. I think you also assume I like Blur. Can't quite tell. In my opinion, the whole Major Evasion buff needs to go away. RNG is no good in a competitive PvP game.
Once we have 1v1 or small group arenas and leaderboards, these issues will come to a head. ZOS will either implement MOBA style balancing between the classes, or no one will take rankings seriously for people playing the "meta," or strongest class or build.
No it's not contradictory. I believe blur is balanced as it's a class exclusive source of major evasion that suits NB play-style. Stam NB should be forced to run their class skill for evasion. Shuffle is stupid, makes stam builds over-perform. Stamplar for example, amazing self-heals with major mending and purify, then you throw on evasiveness. Over-performing. Keep major evasion only tied to set piece and NB exclusive, or tie it to a defensive ability(cinder storm for example as it once was)
EDIT: My point is that major evasion is imbalanced atm because -every- stam build has easy access to it. It has a niche for NBs and for set specific or situational usage. Balance it by making it meaningful with drawbacks instead of a simple armor skill anyone can abuse.
Ok that makes more sense now that you explained. I still don't like the buff either way, but leaving it as Nightblade exclusive is certainly more balanced than everyone getting Shuffle.
Stamblade is also quite vulnerable without evasion.
Perhaps add to your list switching Veiled Strike (Surprise Attack / Concealed) with Blur in the NB class trees. Having a spam dps ability that triggers the Shadow Barrier passive is a bit much too imo. I've been calling for that for a while. Thoughts?
@Lexxypwns
I don't run it for any of the reasons listed haha. I run it purely because I don't have to drop block. When it's like 1v4 that small drop in block is enough to get CCed and die. The root after is also amazing because it allows me to close the gapknew there was some secret ninja reason, thanks
Also, aren't you guys tired of carrying @Force-Siphon all the time?
It gets tiring but you gotta help the less fortunate classes like mag sorc

Yeah that's something that should be on a DK. NBs shouldn't get tankier while spamming a DPS ability.
