Since the release of the Dark Brotherhood, there have been a plethora of problems for players which include but are not restricted to the following;
- unbelievable numbers of broken quests where items are not able to be locked on to finish the quest and is not limited to one particular area
- unacceptable number of random loading screens
- unacceptable number of 'unusually long loading screens'
- unacceptable number of dashboards in one game play session
These issues are on top of the Wrothgar and Orsinium issues which have never been addressed.
I have heard the excuses that it is difficult to predict what will happen when a new dlc is added to a game. But I also play Everquest II where they make a major DLC EVERY year, and they have NEVER had these kind of issues. Yes, sometimes the scenery moves, but I have a 'bug report' option which allows me to stand where the issue is happening, it takes my co-ordinates, and less that a week later the rock that was floating in the air is back on the ground.
Evidently, the coding in the DLC is interfering with the original coding of the game. Might I suggest that instead of making the changes to the 'master game', that a shadow is made and the changes made there to make sure they work before transferring all of the character/ account data across? Especially as there are new players and they do not know how the quests are supposed to perform, so they are unable to send in 'help' reports which are quite frankly not the most convenient to submit when things don't work.
I look forward to ZoS' speedy response, and I pray the patch on July 6th fixes these problems.
