While not likely a reality for some time, I definitely think that we will be seeing some extensions of all our guild quests at some point. When that happens, what would you all like to see for our repeatable heists and contracts?
Personally, I would love to get in on some rooftop scenery. Copy over instanced sections of the cities for heists and contracts (time it at night) and place more connections from rooftop to rooftop. (laundry lines, planks, gaps for jumps, etc.) Hidden tunnels and halls would all make for some awesome content. So would having to go through multiple buildings. As a thief, it would definitely give that sense of ownership over all these amazing towns and cities the team has created. Street guards could have those lanterns attached to poles for seeing what's on the rooftops, then we could progress some jumps or balancing acts as we rise higher in the city, and when finally inside the target building, interior guards and up-late citizens would act as patrols. This scenery could definitely be worked with the contracts as well, when you think about high noble or merchant targets.
It could also be pretty interesting to have a goods/trade ship for heists, too! (Trade ships too large to dock.) We could start off the heist in a rowboat at the rear/base of the ship, climb up, and work our way into the captain's quarters or the storage room below deck. As for contracts, there could be people attempting to flee the land after doing something terrible. For a similar design, have a dock of two or even three ships where our targets or items are.
What do you think?
