Suggestions for ZoS + Public poll for other peoples voices.

Considering the amount of negative feedback from the community I've decided to make this suggestion/discussion thread.

Now for the suggestions:
1. Make a private forum for bug reports:
Subforums:
- One for PC/MAC
- One for Xbox
- One for Playstation
The threads in these forums are hidden from all players. Only the thread starter can view their own thread for security reasons. This allows faster, and more direct contact with ZoS employees regarding bugs in the game.

2. I suggest for ZoS to consider a "spring cleaning" update, if you will. This will not include content like DLC etc., but Quality of Life implementations and tonnes of bug fixes. With this, suggestion #1 should be considered.

Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 25 DLCs. 41 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game.

We should have a private forum for posting bug reports, and should have a Spring Cleaning update.

Yes please, I'm tired of the constant river of tears flooding general discussion, when players have dedicated forums they can post their 'feedback' in. Forum quality decreases a lot because of this.

Would be nice to educate people about the /bug command too by the way.

Yeah that's something that should be done. Even if it's automatic server messages it helps get bugs identified.

Agreed something needs to be done, I'm also sick and tired of the dam "Nerf this & Nerf that threads" Maybe make a section where people with Nerf Issues Can post and rant all they like there, heck for good measure can make a section where people can complain about ESO Economy & wanting a Centralized Auction house lol

What exactly would be the point of a private forum? Writing tickets is basicly like a private forum the only problem is that there seem to be not enough workers to deal with all the reports.
Additionally when there are serious bugs that require fast action you can also communicate with zos workers via forum pm. I know my guild leader has been contacted a few times that way when we found some serious bugs.

But yeah an update that is more focussed on fixing bugs and improving game performance would be nice.

    Private bug forum? No.
Public bug forum? Yes. Additional input from other users is very helpful in identifying and fixing bugs.

Spring Cleaning Update? Would require either shuffling some developers to do it, thereby making the development/implementation of new content suffer; or shuffling all the developers, thereby halting development of all new content (this would be a pure cost to company move).

Spring Cleaning Updates always sound nice, but very few development houses will spend the manpower to do it. ZeniMax is a business, so they need to keep pushing out new content for us to buy; however, they could increase the amount of time they spend on bug fixes and look for QoL improvements they can slip in during current on-going development.

No a public bug forum would be terrible. If a major bug is reported and people see it it'd be exploited.

Yeah, let's please have more polls with 100 people voting that get quoted on a daily basis in the forums while having NO MEANING AT ALL. Would be awesome!

Although such a forum would be nice

I couldn't care less about adding extra sub-fora, I just want them to fix the game.
Even on the internet, clear communication is important; it can be the difference between "helping your Uncle Jack off a horse" and "helping your uncle jack off a horse"; the difference between "knowing your s***" and "knowing you're s***".

    Exploits are different, of course.
They'd likely have to have their own private section.

The forums on Elite Dangerous and Warframe both have public bug sections and it works quite well, imho.

    [snip]

This. Also, public bug forum should prevent multiplying the thread about the issue. I said "should", because 50% of forum users don't know how to use the forum, hence the flood of crappy posts :/

You are talking about the exploits, and those should be reported ONLY via PM or Online Customer Support system. "Casual" bugs should be posted and you should be able to search for the solution on the forum.

Zos already ignore too many issues why make it easier for them.
