Heavy Armor in Fashion? Fotm?

So I like to farm when I need to upgrade gear, I go to Wrothgar run around, take in the sights, struggle for chests etc...

In the past Ancestor Silk was a rarity, so much so I still have the instinct to "GRAB IT NOW" from the IC release.

Last night went to Wrothgar and low and behold, ancestor silk everywhere! But contrary to the past the Rubedite Ore was rarer than ever before.

With the massive up tick to DKs and Templars (I've been watching PvP and few people I know that only run FOTM are now DKs and Temps)

Have they also started running Heavy over Medium? Anyone else notice an increase in demand for Ore?

It's probably more valuable tbh. Weapons can use the ore too, so dual wield can be pricey.

its weapons not armor, and ore no matter the type has always been on the rarer side of things, usually just behind hides.

that said I find less people farming for matts in general these days as they are not new anymore and people have settled into there sets for now.

the update does not seem to be adding new crafted sets either so I don't expect much to change.

It just has to do with who is online harvesting at the same time as you. I harvest wrothgar everyday and the nodes have a fixed spawn location. If they aren't in those locations it's just because someone recently harvested them. Nothing to do with fotm because ancestor silk is worth considerably more than ore anyways.
