Is an Argonian Cleaver Alchemist Sorc powerful?

I've seen people like Deltia of Deltia's gaming run an argonian nightblade with the 5-piece Clever Alchemist set and was curious if a sorc argonian with Cleaver Alchemist would be a strong build to go for, especially with the added magicka boost they'll be getting next dlc. Anyone think it'd be worth going for?

It's not a bad set for PvE and goes well with potions . Probably wil be just as strong next update with racial changes .

For some (I don't know about Sorcerers) classes the set is useful for setting up burst in PvP. When I say some I've only seen it used by Nightblade's but I also have not looked into any DK or Templar pvp builds...or Sorcerer...actually.

Seems only Nightblade can gank and do solo roaming.

Clever Alchemist is a PvP burst set. Not worth it for PvE as the fights that really count are longer than 15 sec and that makes it not worth using.

To any questions "Is _______ ________ _______ strong? People will argue and explain why they like a sorc, or how they have figured out how to make it work etc.. but, the short answer is NO.

Any other class/build can bring the same or more DPS and utility in heals or buffs etc. But, sure if you like the style of a Sorc, do it, the only thing that really matters is that you find fun and effective.

For PvE, a fifteen sec superpower is useless for anything except execution or trash mob killing.

Honestly no. Argonian is not strong atm and will be weaker still next dlc (unless you were looking for a strong healer), and clever alchemist is a burst set that gives you 15s of strong and 30s of meh assuming you chain chug pots. Add that to the well documented sorcerer issues (pets, toggles, 6s ward, etc) and although a well played sorcerer can be strong... the answer in this case is no. You wont have the sustain or sustained damage or even survivability (Argonian passives do nothing for magicka sorcerer survivability as it is ward based generally).

And btw I am an Argonian sorcerer just a tanky stamina one and I have seriously thought about clever alchemist.
