Group finder a steaming turd

Whoevers idea it was to penalise ppl as it is, is an idiot. I get penalised for [snip] who use GF and just sit in grahtwood or wherever..

People who dont enter the dungeon within 1 minute should be the ppl penalised.

No wonder decent players avoid this piece of trash.

That would be the many, many players that pushed and suggested there be a penalty for people who join a random group then drop out immediately forcing them to wait for replacements.

Those ppl are idiots. Now the AFKrs and noobs who dont enter the dungeon rule the day. I thought id give GF a chance as mostly just trial, but *** that.

Not even sure I understand the issue? I will not make a big deal as I assume English is not your first Language.

Are you trying to say people who are in the Queue but are AFK when finally they get a group should be penalised?

If they ever get it working again, you are right there should be a mechanism where you have to accept entering the group, if you don't respond within 1 minute then the group is not formed and the next in the list is sent an invite. If someone doesn't accept, everyone should get a message and no group should be formed.

But as it's obvious that ZOS can't get the simple system they currently have to work, I think it's too much to ask for!

Give it a few hours and as it cools off it attracts all the other flies you can group with to eat up the goodness contained within it.

I will assume intelligence does not come naturally to you.

The issue is that i got a 10 min block from using Activity finder on two occassions.

The first being a group i joined where i asked on the mic if ppl not in the dungeon (but in grp chat) could come into the dungeon so we can start. This resulted in two players being vote kicked eventually after a couple of minutes then group disbanded which caused my 10 minute ban (i was ready to go, i did not leave and ICP is *** easy).

The second was we had a noob tank who could not block or tank effectively who eventually left and the remaining players refused to carry on. So i left rather than wait god knows how long 4 a competant tank to come.

I shall not be using groupfinder again it is not worth the hassle since the ban idiots got their way.

I agree that the penalty for leaving early is a bit strange as it does affect all players whether they are the ones at fault or not; but hopefully as time passes it will naturally make things better but this is me hoping as best I can.

I would much prefer more options when using the group finder, I.e. Having an experience option (new to dungeons, experienced dungeon diver, mentor etc) and have options for how you want to dungeon dive (silver key, gold key, time trial etc) but alas; first things first we need a WORKING ACTIVITY FINDER. I capitalise ACTIVITY FINDER because for some reason ZOS decided to change this to dungeon finder in a patch so now trying to match make on the fly is impossible until we get console text chat. Would be nice to see DSA added at some point.

Again 2+ HOURS in Finder. WHEN ARE U THINKING OF FIXING THIS BS ZOS??????
