Glass Armour dye

Can anyone tell me how to restore Glass armour back to its original colour? When you create it it's black and green but if you dye it and then clear colour it goes to a gammy brown colour?

Strange but I actually want it back to its original state but it's not having it at all.

The middle tool is an eraser

There should be an option in the dye menu to reset. Something in a shape of an eraser.

Sorry it's console but if you check the chest piece is un dyed / cleared colours and the legs have never been dyed...both glass pieces. I want the chest to be the same as the legs.

Am i missing something here?

I've been wondering this as well... I think its a bug of some sort.

I've just come to the conclusion that when you craft new armor its technically "dyed" to a color resembling that of the material grade (rubedite, shadowhide etc...) and if you dye it yourself and then remove the dye it goes to a generic default color.

@ZOS_JessicaFolsom any chance this could be commented on from the team? Remarkably standard glass dye is the best colours for it but I can't turn my armour back to it.

That's strange, I don't seem to have problems reverting my glass armor back to its original color
EDIT : its probably because you upgraded your gear ! you know how that changes the original color of the armor ? Because my hands, legs, feet and waist looked like that when I had upgraded them to epic quality, I don't know what the chest piece looks like at legendary though since I'm still waiting to see what pieces of Infaillable will drop for me aside from the rings I've already got.

So the dye changes based on the material and the level of upgrade, you can't actually have the basic orange/green colors I suppose..
