9 Hours of Maintenance.....For What?

Server maintenance took 9 hours yesterday and the game is exactly the same if not worse.

Maelstrom Arena is an absolute shambles.

Frozen rink game froze for 10 seconds and resumed to me dead.

Spiral Shadows game freezes for 15 seconds and resumed with me dead.

Sort your game out instead of only making sure the crown store works there's no wonder the player base has dropped over 40% in 3 months.

Shocking shower of faeces.

Kicked to home screen can't load in 3 times I'm kicked in loading screen so now my arena run is no longer a score run.

Seriously how can you break something more that has nothing to do with the latest updates I can't rage enough at just how bad this is.

I'm dreading when the 3 servers merge into One Tamriel and this gets even worse.

Be surprised if there are many left by then.

The symptoms you describe sound more like a connection issue than the game not working.

Nah i know exactly what hes talking about. Its just as bad in cyrodiil now. My game doesnt ever disconnect, simply crashes to dashboard and it happens at least twice an hour now. Something with the latest dlc is causing a higher number of crashes.

And then my game crashes 3 more times as im trying to log back in. This was not a problem before the DB dlc.

The 9 hour maintenance window was not entirely ZOS, some of it was the hosting company. They just uploaded an update to the server software, nothing more. The EU servers are hosted by a third party company in Frankfurt, Germany, and it appears that the hosting company had to take an entire load of servers including all the ZOS servers offline whilst some physical maintenance of some sort was done.

It wasn't a ZOS maintenance yesterday, instead the data center in Frankfurt where the EU servers are housed did the maintenance. No idea why they need to shutdown the servers for 9 hours though ...

If you cared look at the yellow box on top of page, only pc got a patch maintenance, the rest was a regular maintenance.

Actually, it was not long as usual for PS4 NA today. Woke up and it was already done. Whoo hoo! Normally, it would go for about 4-5 hour-ish.
