Things need to change @ZOS

So I feel it is time for me to say my piece....

Personally, I find the lack of communication from ZOS completely unacceptable. Whilst I appreciate that ZOS have, for once, started a EU maintanance whilst most of us were sleeping, the fact that it is still going on now, 6hrs later, with no communication is not fair. I understand that proving ETA's would not be easy nor totally accurate, but at the very least provide us with some details about what is going on and how roughly how long the maintance is going to take.

We do not need to know everything, but maintance this big obviously entails major fixes and / or changes. The least you can do for your loyal community is talk to us, especially as I see very little ZOS feedback in many of the sections on this forum. I firmly believe that, right now, you, ZOS owe the community for all the problems caused by the latest patch. The consoles are very frustrating, if not impossible to play at times, and the lag across the platforms is unacceptable.

What, we, the community need from you, is a show of faith, that you are listening to us and are going to fix the issues plaguing the game, which have been occuring for far too long. I really do enjoy the game, and enjoy the content you regularly add, but enough is enough. Please stop papering over the cracks with new dlc and fix the underlying problems, before it is too late.

I've never known a time like right now when ZoS did communicate so frequently.

It isn't what you want to hear I dare say but what you're doing is ranting and nobody pays attention to that least of all professional people with better things to do with their time.

I'm more the sort of person who just thinks it will be done when it's done and I don't care if they give a reason for it taking so long.

That holds true if the said player had any faith left that a maintenance would fix or address this lol Probably adding a new costume to the CROWN store

Exactly this . I know we're all addicted to the game but without downtime for maintenance , there is no game . It's always going to be more inconvenient for someone somewhere else in the world until they figure out how to make the planet flat .

What are they communicating, and where? I never saw anything from them regarding:

- The reason for today's maintenance (apparently it's not even ZOS but the company that runs the Frankfurt data centre);
- The reason for switching regular EU maintenance times to 11am Mondays instead of 3am Tuesdays like they'd done for 2 years;
- A comprehensive policy on cheating/exploiting, which has been a heated topic for months...

Please do tell me where their communication has improved so much. All I see is forum moderation, which is important but is not the same as communication.

It's a reflection of player satisfaction levels. Morale is low, people are edgy. Did you notice that yesterday's natch potes thread was posted only after maintenance had started and had barely any posts in it? Used to be a kind of light-hearted, good-spirited comic relief, but it seems fewer people are in the mood for that.
