Some day I'd like to see the guild tabard in different place than covering my armor/costume, maybe on the back like here:

Verdict: The Desert Gala Overdress (that we cannot get yet) looks surprisingly good on a male orc - especially if you hide the head thingummy.

When you dye a costume is the costume dyed for my account, or is the costume just dyed for that character
ie: if i want one of my characters in say a 'goth' corested riding outfit, could i have the other character in a 'the base uncoloured' corested riding outfit?
(i have tons of costumes, just curious cause i really love this costume)
It is different for each character, yes, so you can save the riding corset colors on that character.
Note that ESO+ members will have full use of unlocked dyes at any dye station.
Non-subscribed players will have access to dye stamps that are purchasable in the crown store.

Really? So I no longer have to get the achievements?
I feel a little bittersweet about that. I've spent a lot of time and effort getting achievements, and one of the motivations was unlocking dyes. But that's okay. Getting achievements just won't be as important as it is right now.

Is it just costumes or can we dye disguises, too. I'm guessing no (it would defeat the purpose of a disguise) but it would be nice to make our own disguises.Taleof2Cities wrote: »puffytheslayer wrote: »could someone clarify the dying system,

You can use any unlocked dyes on your account. So, same as armor, any dyes still locked you cannot use ... until unlocked by the achievement.
The catch on the dye stamps is that they are a pre-selected set of three dyes which are rotated in the crown store every week. Each dye stamp is labeled with the week it was issued to avoid confusion. Rare dyes are currently excluded from the dye stamps.
There's been some discussion in PTS about the stamps being too limited ... if you're not subscribed to ESO+ (and want to voice your concerns), then you're invited to post in the PTS thread, here:

If you're ESO+ like me it's a non-issue ... since it's exactly like dying armor at the dye station.
I'll try to post some more wedding dress pics tonight on my Imperial Stam Sorc ... looks like the current pic is approaching 3,000 views.

No, you misunderstand - you won't have colors available, where you haven't completed the achievement to get them.
Wonder what the collection of all the normal hairstyles and adornments will cost - to be able to change hair and adornment at will from the collection tab would be great, sometimes my chosen adornment is not working well with one or the other head piece.
