Would this build work? (Magicka NB Gank)

Is it possible to do a Magicka Nightblade Gank build for PvP or Stamina only? I’ve never seen one posted which makes me think the burst isn’t there. I’d just like to see if it’s a possible option.

I imagine the setup would be the same: pre-attack is potion, merciless resolve, inner light for empower, dark cloak then charge heavy attack+destructive reach into bar swap Lotus Fan+Concealed Weapon+Soul Harvest into Impale for burst….

Just like the stamina potion + Relentless Focus + Radiant Light (For mage empower) + Dark Claok then charge heavy bow attack + poison injection, bar swap into Ambush+Surprise Attack+Flawless Dawnbreaker into Killer’s Break

Thoughts? Would it work? Not sure what to do about lack of Vigor…but I feel like maybe a Restoration Staff would dilute the “Assassin” feel, but if it’s unavoidable I understand.

Just excited about the changes for next patch since I chose Argonian and right now I’m a Stamblade, but I may be able to keep the same play style I hope but get some benefit from my racials.

Any stamina nb will outperform this by far. The problem is you have less burst together with less endurability. For the destro staff heavy attack from stealth you don't get a stealth bonus as far as I remember. You can't simply burst your victim down to execution range. So you have to mitigate dmg and hinder your enemy from recovery. Most decent players can reduce your healing to more or less 0. So you need to be able to do that too and additionally dodge, block, shield or mitigate dmg to survive ;-) You can't really block or dodge that much so you need to shield or mitigate.

I would put at least a shield into my bar and slot incap for more burst and heal reduction. Then you need a siphoning ability in both bars to buff your magicka. You have it only on melee bar. I'd use swallow soul and/or cripple. You need a decent soft cc anyway. Spectral bow isn't really useful as snare. Swallow soul does dmg and is cheap. You lack heals anyway. You wouldn't need a resto staff for that.

You can be an assassin as magicka nb but its not like 2h/bow where you nuke your victim down before they can sort their fingers. Its more about bringing the enemy in a vulnerable situation with your opening and then siphon him down.

Actually I've noticed that simply from questing against mobs. As the Stamina NB any world boss would be nuked in my opener (Pot/Relentless/Radiant/Cloak into HA+PI bar swap AMB+SA+INCSTR+KB) where as the same type of opener on my Magicka NB brings them maybe to half HP where I think need a filler spell/LA weave to get them into execute range.

Plus carrying around a staff I just don't feel like an assassin. I'm not a fan, Magicka lacks the burst that Stamina has. It's not a one hit kill. Not loving this build conversion.
