Mage Skill line

Hey guys, was hoping for some info on leveling up the mage skill line. I want to unlock the ultimate from it but it seems to be leveling really slowly even though I read every book I can find. Is there any way to earn extra experience for this skill?

✭✭No, you need to continue collecting books. Also you won't be able to unlock the ultimate before you reach level 45 since some needed books are in areas that you can't reach before that level.0 -
TheDarkoil✭✭✭I'm like Cp level 80 and have played with this character for nearly 200 hours searching everywhere I've been and my mages skill line is 7 I think, need 8 for the ultimate.0

if your on pc get the mage book add on, if your on console get a map up on google.PS4 EU DC

I have every character level 50, both a magicka and stamina version.

Actually it takes gathering all the books you can find until reach around the 4th area of silver, for whatever faction you are in, to get lvl 10 and ultimate!!0

You do get mage guild experience from the mage guild quest line for each quest!! (believe 25 for each) Still takes to almost done with silver to get max mage guild level!!Edited by cwolfe702b14_ESO on June 27, 2016 8:11AM0 -

Step 2: Play some music.
Step 3: port around the world and collect every lorebook u can.
Step 4: enjoy Shooting star or Ice comet once its morphed.
