How is Heavy Armor doing?

I was thinking about making a HA armor character, and was wondering if Heavy Armor is at all worth using in a DPS kind of format.

(and yes ZOS this is the same thread I made for the PvP section. I honestly cannot remember if I am allowed to make two of the same post in different threads, and if I am not please delete this, ty:)

For PVP, yes. For PVE, not so much. Given your OP it's assumably the former.

Certain builds in PVP works very well in heavy armor as DD's. For PvE i think other armors are still better thx for crit,penetration,wep dmg and lowering costs they provides.
