Is consoles going to get the newest old PC DB patch is the real question.

You can basically assume that any console patch is at least 2-3 weeks old - because any change has to go through the approval process and that is the real barrier which hinders timely fixes and updates on consoles. Like Jessica Folsom stated in the live show that they have updates to fix some issue on xbox1, but it will be weeks until this can go live, because of the approval process.

Weeks.. lol.. Might as well just wait until the next DLC and actually make things right this time.

Overwatch, FFXIV, DCUO, Warframe, Dark Souls 3 and pretty much any modern MMORPG or game, even, push through patches/ hotfixes and large content DAY AND DATE ACROSS PLATFORMS.

Please stop spreading misinformation, or information that might have been true circa 2012. What you're saying is no longer real, factual or a problem for most developers--except ZoS for some reason.

Likely, what others are doing is holding all of the patches until all platform approvals are done.

Whatever they "other people" are doing, it works. Period. This staggered release, "live with the bugs we patched out (kinda) weeks ago", is absolute nonsense. I don't know why people are defending that or presuming it's normal when in every other game it's not.

As a consumer, we should never have to ponder or worry about the ETA on fixing critical issues with a product (loading screens, activity finder, terrible FPS and lag). It's up to the provider to keep us assuaged and informed. And not with vague, "we're working on it", allusions to fixes weeks or months ahead.

Praise the Lord. We're ALL getting a patch. (Many things will still be broken, though--hopefully the big stuff is fixed.)

Not really, many developers actually delay the PC release till the consoles are done as well. ZOS on the other hand, release PC patches immediately and uses PC players as the real beta-testers.

You are complaining about having to wait for a console release... and then wonder why people are defending not having to wait for a PC release?
