Capping one poorly defended flag and owning a whole town because ZoS Logic.

What should be in there
Lots of guards this should require about a 5man group of really good players at the least to cap.
Makes guards as powerfulas the PvE Guards but killable (Meaning lots of counter abilities to all classes)
Use the inside of building to be ravagable but remove the cant leave while in combat BS (Just remove that from the game in general)
Archers!!!!

Also R.I.P PvE questers

    I didn't even think about the poor pve questers. :/ That's pretty unfortunate for them actually. Also I think in the ESO Live they said there was going to be 3 flags? (Might be mistaken.)

    Indeed, poor PvE questers :)

    I remember when Imperial City was not yet released, these villages used to be my realm for over 1 year.
    They used to be very alive. But now, few people visit them anymore. These quests don't grant enough EXP in comparison to simple monster grinding and also less loot and gold.

    So maybe it doesn't matter anyway. The cities are already in a minor Alliance war, the NPC guards fight each other once the next keep is conquered by another alliance. So it makes sense that these villages receive more attention from the Alliances.

    It's a shame, I was going to hop in and do some PvE stuff to get some achievements and maybe farm the dolmens, but screw that noise, I can barely tolerate Cyrodil as it is, now the places which were marginally safe from the mouth breathers who tea bag and whisper insults which should make anyone ashamed of their public educational system are going to be flooded with PvP control.

    Oh well, I suppose I still have a massive advantage over them...a good 3/4's of the map of Tamriel is for me. ;)

    All seriousness, despite my loathing for PvP and the environment it often fosters, I am very happy for all of my PvP loving friends and guildmates, I hope this goes a long way towards satisfying your need for more than just open world zerging, really and truly I do.

    You were going to hop in in 2 months time? There's plenty of time to get your questing and grinding done in the towns before it's implemented.

    At launch the towns were some of the most fun spots in this game. As the quests were not dailies but infinitely repeatable, they were filled with people leveling by quest, gankers, people bringing their friends to try to get revenge on the gankers etc. Also some huge scroll and siege battles on occasion.

    Hope they do something to improve the quests as well, either somehow make them relevant to pvp objectives or make it appealing for more pve people to come to cyrodiil towns

    The questers will have NPC and random PvPer using the towns as a Rez point for back up. Besides having to take a Burma as part of cutting off Dragon or taking Cropford for a Drake take will split the zergs up just a bit having to control the town or have a whole raid port in and killing your seige line.

    It will make the towns useful and add to PvP as a whole. Step in the right direction for me.

    Indeed. It has never been proitable to help the villagers of Cyrodil. But they are a hardened and steadfast people. They are honest and I respect them, so I have helped them from time to time.

    I will bring my war parties. I will defend them from the Covenant and Pact scum that would rob their lands of fertility and their people of honor.

    Their children will rest peacefully on the warm bosom of Queen Ayrenne.

    I play pvp 90% of the time and the worst thing happen to me is a teabag...
    Pve side i get elitism insult random kick from the group and on...
    I'm happy for the town capture anyway, finally you can found more than free ap in there.

    Sounds cool! 100% depends on implementation if it's fun or not. I'm not too hyped but it will be a nice change for PvP.

    The hell with PVE players and their feelings in/with Cyrodiil. :) They've been getting a crap ton of content the last few patches. More so than PVP has.
    Now It's our turn. Muahahaha

    Oh wait, town captures? That's it???

    I don't see what's to be so excited about. The sewer districts each got one flag with guards that a half dead level 20 player can solo. Then you jump on and take a flag that nobody cares about anymore but you if you're lucky. If you're unlucky a 20 man Zerg just comes and caps it right out of spawn, steamrolling you.

    That was 'it'. The vaunted DB PVP 'content'.

    Thanks for reminding me to make sure I'm done all the PvE quests there before release :)

    As a side note, might want to remind people that town capture means you open up a vendor that sells epic gear ;)

    I'm happy for the PvP crowd but sad for PvE only.

    Kinda puts a dent into dailies on lower population campaigns. Hoping tho, the population allows for it to work better but until I'm on PTS. I won't really know if it's awesome or not.

    I do like the IC changes so we'll see. Just think it'll take away from sieges.
