two handed passive can help magic?

I might forget the names, so sorry about that,but I see in the two handed passive perk, that using a heavy attack (that would be holding the right trigger for a few seconds before the attack takes place correct?) gives a % bonus to damage. Since this is a passive for two handed weapons like an Axe I was using, can I use this passive ability for my Staves when I use a heavy attack with a Stave, or bow?

I want to make sure when it only says "heavy attack" that it's only for 2 handed weapons or for all heavy attacks be it two handed weapons, stave, bow or even one handed and shield.

If it's in the 2 hander skill line (maul, axe, great sword) then it only affects those weapons

Weapon passives don't work unless you have that one equipped.
