Question before l go to bed.
Where in Glenumbra is a good spot to collect worms so l can sell them in the Guild shop?

Anywhere with vegetal fibers and alchemy plans. Worms have a chance to be found whenever you loot those.

If you want to farm bait, you can always go to some underground delve and keep an eye out for beetles and other critters, they drop guts. Or you can go to Grahtwood, it has tons and tons of Butterflies and Torchbugs.

I been farming jute on the first starter island but all the jute l been picking has had the worms removed its like jute was patched or something.

I just farmed 103 Jute and l only got 4 worms.
If you know of a quicker way to farm worms for fishing please share.
There has got to be a quicker way.
    Goodnight.

Seriously. Undead mobs drop worms at an alright rate. I'm not sure about Glenumbra though, as to where would be a good spot. Worms tend to be more than the other bait because it is a bit tougher to get them.. since its a good chunk RNG on if you get them.

If youre farming them for sale, just farm flowers/cloth nodes, they often drop worms and you will get a lot of raw mats to refine or sell.

If the point of this thread is only finding worms to sell for profit, it's not a smart time investment for the income you will generate. No matter which of the above methods (farming zombies or flowers) you choose, the same time could be better spent on many more profitable endeavors. Just one example is farming motifs. They are pretty easy to find, and even older motifs like Daedric and Dwemer sell for a few thousand gold. You'll also make more money from the flowers you pick than from the worms you also gather, just because you'll have a lot more flowers than worms.

I seem to find the opposite problem. Someone will loot a node, and leave the worms/crawlers. I get there, click on a herb or clothing node, all I get is worms/crawlers. Personally I just let those worms and crawlers stack to 200 rather than be an a-hole and leave junk. Then I try to sell them, otherwise just get rid of them. The buff food that I use don't need fish, and trying to fish for perfect roe for gold. I'd rather just run around to every node I can find, seems to be quicker getting legendary upgrade stuff by refining than getting perfect roe. I still have yet to get a single perfect roe, but have found 40+ Dreugh Wax, 40+ Rosin, 40+ Tempering Alloy and 40+ Kuta. After lots of fishing, decided it was better just to run around and kill stuff and gather.

I am currenly selling in the Guild shop
    200 crawlers
    200 Guts
    200 Insect Parts

This post has nothing to do with making money.
It is about supplying fishing baits to a Guild shop.

Yes, but those 100 mats are also worth something ;)
You can refine them and get valuable upgrade materials, or just sell stack of raw mats (they usually cost more than refined).

    o.O
Its your choice of course but I'm not sure if its worth the time investments. In that case, of course, you can just grind some zombies. The best zombie grind spot for DC is north from Evermore. A lot of them and they respawn fast.

I just tried farming for worms at Eagle's Brook.
I got 4 Fleshfly Larva in a short time.
I have no idea if these Zombies drop worms.
I will try up the map a bit.
It apears different Zombies drop different stuff.
Too early to tell that just yet.

Just kiled Zombies at Lion Guard Redoubt.
I seen my first worm drop from a Zombie.
    I have 25 Fleshfly Larva.
It would seem the drop rate is the same as Jute.
Lion Guard Redoubt Zombies drop about 3 times extra stuff as Eagle's Brook Zombies do.
I am going to test the Ork starter Island with this new faith in Zombies droping worms and test them out once more.

I've stored thousands of worms from harvesting plants and killing zombies. That's what I recommend :)

Crawlers, Bugs, and Guts all have their own amazing grind spots! Worms are definitely the most difficult type of the four main baits to get a bunch of though.

This game is slowy proving to me when farming for worms the drop rate is 4 for every 100 encounters. No mater where you farm or what level.

Hmm..... I'd recommend killing zombies then. Far faster than 4 for every 100 encounters in my experience. I get Larvas and Worms for most individual kills! Worms definitely drop less.

If you ever level up another character and want to grind it to Lvl 50 (AND are on DC), you will find the beach outside of Sentinel to be a great grind spot. Those zombies provide a ton of worms!

Fish fowl water. You can get chub from fowl water and they work in ocean water. You could also snag a perfect roe.
and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."

I have youtubes by other people's on my youtube playlists on perfect roe.
    Note on perfect roe!
Its a cooking ingredient its only one ingredient out of a few to make the Xp potion. Even if you had the ingredients you can't cook it until your writs are maxed out. Maxed out writs give you what you need to make the Xp potion you can't buy that Recipe you need to make it.
For more information on this my youtube is australiankennypants.
Perfect roe on its own is compleaty useless.
By the time l am compleaty maxed out l will have no need or want for a XP potion.
    The whole things pointless.

    Back to worms
    Lets nut this out.
Betnikh Zombies compaired to Stros M'Kai Jute.
Jute gives you 4 in 100 harvested.
Betnikn Zombies gives 4 in 100 harvested.
Jute you need to run from plant to plant and it seems a fair distance between them and that takes a fair bit of time.
Betnikh Zombies come to you as they respawn.
They die fast so you should get a harvest of Zombies in half the time it takes to harvest Jute.
I don't recomend harvesting Zombies at Lion Guard Redoubt because every man and his dog is killing the Zombies before you do and call me a cranky old man because l hate my backpack being filled with stuff l don't want and its frustrating sorting out what l want to keep and what needs to be sold at a passing shop.
I will do my harvesting worms at Betnikh Grimfield today.

I'm getting 10K a pop usually for a single Perfect Roe. Perfect Roe can also be used to create Smoked Bear Haunch and a lot of PVP players use that. You want worms to sell. Chub sell for a higher price than worms do and you have the added bonus of getting green and blue fish that can be sold to vendors. You can also get wet gunny sacks that give out items just like a heavy sack does and of course can get the Perfect Roe. Added bonus as you run from fishing hole to fishing hole you can gather mats and get your worms as well.
and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."

There is misleading information about perfect roe above. Perfect roe is not useless on it's own...it sells for a good price and very quickly. You can buy the recipe for it, if there are any for sale. I've sold one myself. I'm not sure what is meant by having "writs maxed out", but there are no requirements to learn any recipe, and it is VERY easy to max out provisioning. Yes, other ingredients are need to make perfect roe recipes, just like all but the lowest level recipes. Other ingredients are very easy to obtain, including the purple ones. I almost agreed about XP pots being useless for max level characters, but while I was doing Caldwell gold today, I realized those XP pots would really help with how slowly some of my skills were leveling on my 501 NB. I don't really want more CP I can't use, but I still want my skills to level as fast as possible. On top of all this, the thread is about worms, not perfect roe. That topic has been thoroughly covered in this thread.
