719 vet dailies completed and I finally get a molag kena shoulder

ive done them on multiple characters and finally I receive.... a heavy prosperous shoulder.
please just sell this thing im never opening another chest until they remove training and prosperous.
id like to speak w a zos employee about my rng needing a buff now..

As an extra offer, he'll make sure to double your chance to get well fitted Spell power cure items, as well as Bogdan the Nightflame's shoulders with all the best weight/trait combos (exactly the ones you'd be looking for for your Kena gear). Sadly, he is in short supply of Kena shoulders, but he might still have some Training ones.

He'd also like to remind you to be patient if you're looking for Impenetrable shoulders, as it will require on average (only) half a year to get the desired item.

everyone complaining about kuta drop rates as well

i farmed 2 days in a row 12 hours each

4k raw silk (12 wax)
2k rubedo scrap (18 wax)
almost 4k rubidite (im at 10 tempering alloys but ive got 1k left to refine)

1 kuta out of hundreds of runestones
ive gotten 6 from my writs this week tho so im not mad

my rng is okay i guess but not by any means great takes me 10 runes usually to get 1 helmet and now for sa good one around 30

719.. good lord, man. You're definitely the veteran or hardcore player. Imagine all the other good stuff you've gotten, though, with all those time and efforts you've put in. Nice..

How have you done 719 pledges since mid September? That's like 4 toons at a pledge a day for 6 months solid every day....really? Not to mention an extra 2 gold keys for IC pledges if you could actually finish them at release on hard mode.

i have tons of divines and impen of everything in every weight but the one I wanted lol

I had 8 vet 16 before release of dark brotherhood.

i play too much and im not proud of it but damn it i deserve a better molag kena

i also saved the keys from when i did dungeons on v1-15 while leveling each toon

Molag kena set was not in the game when consoles launched. Many of those pledges OP did would have been before kena was added to the game.

i didnt do dungeons that much

That's some awful luck. Personally I've gotten 2 or 3 light divines Kena shoulders, 1 medium divines and 1 heavy divines, as well as a couple infused pieces.

The helm is a completely different matter of course. I ran vet WGT 60 times before I saw a helm at all. Thankfully it was heavy divines, but man... 60 runs for one helm.

yea i got the help first try infused then proceeded to get many different ones

Don't hate me, but I got a Molag Kena Shoulder on my first Vet Daily. It was Vet13, and Medium, and Reinforced, but it was a Shoulder. I also got the Engine Gaurdian Helm the first time I did that dungeon.

Of course now, I am sitting with Singles of most of the Monster pieces, no pairs.

Of the dailies I've done, I've gotten 3 kena shoulders making it the second most dropped monster pice from the chests. It's just after the sought after maw of the inferno in divides which I've gotten 6 times over the course of 2 weeks. Yesterday I got my kena shoulder from the gold key along with my 8th version of the engine guardian helmet and then received my first valkyn shoulder from my silver key in divines. I'm now just missing 1 monster set to have them all in less than 100 vet pledges.

I have two divines molag kena shoulders and an Infused shoulder

Maybe 200 keys used, gold and silver

If you're having trouble getting the shoulder, just spam the crap out of WGT vet for the helm. Unless you need the two piece, in which case...

Do people really keep track of the number of times they run these things, or is this the part where I claim I've run it 6345789 (mad props if you're under 40 and get the reference) times and have never received more than a lockpick?

I am sure you have kept count. And, 'since console release' isn't applicable as Kena wasn't available at console release, and therefore only your count since IC DLC would be applicable.

I get it. I hate the atrocious RNG in this game as much as anyone else; it is bloody horrible. That said, inflating statistics isn't going to help solve the issue. Presenting hard facts with accurate numbers are really the only way we might get ZOS to take a look at their RNG coding.

Some salt in the wound for you...

I recently finished VMA for the first time and the drop at the end was a nirnhoned resto staff. That's the exact item I wanted as I am a healer and the trait grants me some extra DPS on my DoT stuff as well as some bonus healing.

It still doesn't change the fact the RNG in this game is pathetic. Nobody should have to run 20+ times for Inferno/Restoration staffs when the stamina users are given their weapons within a few runs.
