So I wanted to give the Warrior's Fury Set a try on my Werewolf Stam Sorc Heavy Armor build. My gut tells me Fury is not good, but I have several different builds and just wanted to try something new. I thought that the Fury Set might pair well with the new Wrath heavy Armor passive.
5pc. Black Rose, 5 pc. Fury. 2 pc Kena all heavy, all impen. 1H1S and DW.
It is hard for me to really test the effect of the Fury set in combat due to the short duration. I don't have many friends in opposing factions to help me test it, but may ask around if anyone can. But I was wondering if anyone knows the following:
It is my understanding that it is not possible to critically hit someone who is blocking. (This may be incorrect, so let me know if this is wrong.)
If this is correct, I am wondering how the game calculates this, as it could be a huge deal breaker for this set.
The 5pc bonus states: "When you take critical damage, your Weapon Damage is increased by 30 for 6 seconds. This effect can stack up to 25 times."
If I am blocking, am I negating all crit damage, and not allowing the set to proc? Even as tanky as this build is, I usually get low on health quickly if I never block.
