Hi all
Aplogies if this isnt the right section.
I’m coming close to re attempting VSMA and after attempting it a while ago and deciding that i need to look at my character and re build him better, due to feeling i wasn’t out putting enough damage. I was wondering if there’s a good baseline to say to attempt at.
I've watched and read alot about putting all weapon damage on jewellery and that but then my stam recovery drops a hell of a lot (but correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m assuming a good potion will make that no concern)
My character is:
An Orc templer - I know, not the easiest for VSMA , but it was my first character and no thought went in to when i first joined ESO, but its my main focus as this is my questing and achievement character (i have mag nightblad lvl50 and Mag DK)
Stats
Health - 20K
stam - 31K
Stam recovery - 780ish
weapon damage 2h - 4200/300 ish and buffed i can get 4714 without the use of any potions
crit - 57k -ish
phys res - 11k
spell res - 13K
Back bar i have a leki bow
weapon damage bow - 4200k
Crit - 62k ish
I have my att in 18 in health and 46 in stam
Equipment
monster helmet - molag kena ( I have blood spawn as well)
leki maul + shoulders
gladiator - 5 piece set (looking at switch to hundings rage, have mats just not got round to doing it yet)
all robust agility set
All glyphs apart from on my leki bow are gold and all stam and weapon damage
All equipment apart from two are purple (will be upgrading to gold before i attempt VSMA again, and my stats will change above as expected once ive done that)
362 CP, i believe they are set in the correct places for my build but any help on the best place to put them would be great.
So my questions are -
Should i wait and push 400+ CP if not 501
Are my stats on par to being able to beat it or....?
I have thought about going mag temp, but as i have invested so much in my stam temp i didn’t want to wipe him to mag just yet, at least wanted to say i tired haha.
Any help would be great and any info on your stats for a similar build would be great, i understand what each round will bring and won’t have a problem with knowing what to hit first etc...
FYI - i just cant seem to find a post on stats of players characters to see what the norm or bare min is, also ive yet to attempt VSMA on this build as its been in the works.
Edit -
Change title as it was a little miss leading.
So the weekend just passed I spent 2hrs in and out attempting it and made it to the 2nd round, I think it took Me so long as I've never just not used vigor.
So I was running vigor on my back bar, and main using repentance and rally, given on the boss that repentance on round 2 would not be of any use.
To be honest my attempt was mainly for the new step up and I believe my character could make it well up to the last round if not finish it, and i will most like have a hole in my xbox but there are a few changes I will make before attempting again and with the update I think I'm probably best focusing on a few other things first.
So changes I believe will help
-Get at max Cp if not close, I was gaining 5cp per 90mins so I should make those 100+ Cp if that's all I do this weekend.
-make my hundings rage gold and switch out my gladiator set
-make bow gold
-watch a few guides
Hopefully I can get it done before update, if not then correct me if I'm wrong, but I can change my race right? So good bye orc

Are stam builds harder than mag for this end game content? What CP level was your first finish, and has he db dlc made it harder?
