By that logic I can say that noone should be allowee to use a certan motif since I don't like it. Not a valid argument. Besides I can still color the rest of my gear in uggly colors...
Weapon dyeing makes so much sense... it does not break lore. On the live twitch they said they were having heated debates about it... whats to debate? hope it comes soon

This is what I said... WHY a 'heated debate' when the overwhelming MAJORITY of paying players want this added to the game?!? I've heard such straw-man arguments against it but let's face reality here... how is it possible that we can dye metal ARMOR, which is the same exact material as our weapons, but we cannot dye the weapons?!? It defies any form of logic... so if they say 'no' to weapon dying then the should have said no to metal armor dying too. Hence I cannot comprehend how this is even a discussion at ZOS, let alone a 'heated one'.

Well with Rubedite being the material we use for weapons we are now all running around with red weapons, and in some cases the weapon it quiver looks pink. So can we have weapon dying now so I can have a normal looking weapon and a quiver that isn't red or pink?
