Minotaur style armor

I just got a set of the heavy Minotaur "Morihaus" armor and I love the look of it. Does anyone know when the medium and light version will be available?

I am speculating that this will be one of the motifs being released next.

If the trend continues then that style should be released with the next DLC as a reward from doing the DB dailies. Can't be 100% sure though.

I don't think they are, but all three have the exact same chest strap. Also the same belts.

That's why I am going to wait 3 months to do the DLC on my alts. I will still do the DLC on my main right when it comes out.

There are 3 unavaible motif styles in the gold coast, minotaur, akatosh/gold coast imperial/order of the hour and the dark brother itself. They will probaly be added during the next dlc to keep people busy in the gold coast and give people another to reason to buy it if not already.

The heavy minotaur armor went from concept to game really well. The loss of detail on the helm Is regrettable. However it is still good



Is this hide of Morihaus a viable 5 piece set? I usually run with 7 medium and would like to try to make these 5 heavy pieces work at least until they become available for crafting. What kind of build would this be useful for?

You could run it weapons DW/S&B and jewelry but the jewelry I have only seen in healthy so far.

Yes they are very similar, but the medium armor has visible fortifications to it around the waistguard and boots.
And as for the visible belt, that is just part of the chestpiece itself, while the normal girdle is completely hidden under it.

Telel has been using it in PVP lately and it has...potential. The only thing hurting it is the recent increase in dodge roll costs, and the fact you can only get blue grade jewelry for it.

Oh, and good luck finding a sharpened bow or even really any weapons for it. They're rarer than maelstrom weapons for some reason.

If you DO happen to get a sharpened bow in this set Khajiit is paying well...

As for its use. Khajiit mostly uses it for zerg diving while backed up by capable healers, and a group closing in behind them. This one pops an immovable pot, and forward momentun, uses ambush to close on them and then roll dodges straight through the biggest pack of foes they can find.

The damage is minimal (2kish on mobs, 600 ish on players) but that AOE knockdown can really mess with people. Especially if you have more people coming up to bomb them as they're stumbling around.

Basically it's perfect for trollololrolling where you don't plan to live very long but want to be as disruptive as possible.

Though be warned that people will accuse you of hacking the game and inserting 'knock down code' that lets you just send people flying. XD

Yup, it's in the notes for Update 11 & the Base Game Patch:

•Four new crafting styles: Akatosh, Dark Brotherhood, dro-m'Athra, and Minotaur

So Aug 1 on PC & Aug 16 on consoles.

I think I read somewhere that 2 are from dailies and 2 drop from bosses, but maybe that's wrong. I can't find a source on that now.

iirc, it drops from Limenauruus kill daily quest.
Not sure if you can just kill him w/out the quest to get the motif, though.

Correct, the chance at a motif is in the Daily quest coffer reward (similar to Trinimac motif dropping in the Wrothgar Daily delve).
