I just spent two hours looking for poultry for a writ and I enjoyed every minute of it. I fought some monsters, explored a cave and met some people. Found my poultry and did my crafting. Looked at the clock to see that two hours had flown by. Stuff like this is what I really enjoy in a game.

It's the small things like this that make this game amazing.

It definitely doesn't help that I'm A.D.D either.
I'll log in to do one task, and then along the way I'll jump to something else to do "just real quick" , and then another and another and then it's time to log off..
Next time! Next time I'll do it! haha

Yep, this game definitely has the old TES time-warp syndrome, and I love it. :)

Late last night, I decided to tackle one last quest before logging off, and headed for the dungeon I needed to clear for it. But whoops, on the way a Dark Anchor dropped pretty much in front of me, so I angled off the original route to go clear that. But then I noticed a haunted ruin nearby. Once that was cleared, I saw a Mundus Stone I hadn't visited yet on top of a nearby mountain, and on my way to finding the path up I encountered a house full of hags. One Mundus Stone and an hour later, and I realized I hadn't even done the original quest I'd set out to do. XD
I am Queen of Typos. If you don't see "Edited by BlackSparrow" above this line, please assume my account has been taken over by scamps and react accordingly.

    My Girls:
    "Elsweyr, yay or nay?"

Nephikah the Houseless, dunmer assassin: "If circumstances try to drive me there, maybe. Right now, it just sounds like a lot of sand in my boots."
Swum-Many-Waters, elderly argonian healer: "The simple thought of it dries my scales. I ventured into Elsweyr long ago, but I may be getting too old to make the journey again."
Silh'ki, khajiit warrior-chef: "This one looks forward to seeing her home sands again. Perhaps she will make her home village many fish sticks!"
Peregrine Huntress, bosmer hunter: "I could do much with a good dragon hide."
Lorenyawe, altmer mechanist: "I see little need to muck about some ancient tomb. Too much work to do elsewhere. No, that was not an intentional pun."
Lorelai Magpie, breton thief: "Stealing from the Ban Daar is always a fun challenge. Sometimes, they steal their stuff back!"
Rasheda the Burning Heart, redguard knight: "While I try to stay at Swum-Many-Waters' side, the whispers of an undead threat worry me."
Hex-Eye Azabi, khajiit daedric priestess: "Perhaps. The lady Mephala spins many webs, and I can see there being benefit in sending me into the path of an undead invasion."
Yngva Stormhammer, nord bandit (reformed...ish): "I hear there will be dragons. I would be a disappointment to my Nord heritage if I did not try to slay them."
Madam Argentia, dunmer aristocrat: "I have little desire to waltz across the desert for weeks at a time. It's terrible for the complexion."
Mazie gra-Bolga, orc scout: "Uh... I'm kinda busy up in Wrothgar, sorry!"
Felicia the Wanderer, imperial witch-for-hire: "The Khajiit usually throw some nice contracts my way. I'm sure Jimila will have something that will take me there."
Calico Jaka-dra, retired khajiit pirate: "This one is happy to check back on her homeland after grand adventures drew her away! Let the kittens call her -dra instead of -daro now!"
Shimmerbeam, blind altmer psijic: "My lady Meridia does detest the undead. I may need to sneak out on my duties on Artaeum to address it."

I enjoy it, but my wife hates it sometimes!

Many a "one second, just finishing this x,y,z" has turned into 2hrs of lost time.

    Glad you are having fun!

@Yinmaigao I have the same problem with missus lol!

On the other hand my 7 year old is showing some interest in creating a pretty little bosmer princess, guess I need to show her the ropes!

No. I played when the game came out but had to leave for a long time. Just came back and haven't joined a guild yet. I've just been trying out different characters and going through the starting islands.

Love just wandering around - even with alts have found bits previously missed in some areas.

'Just finishing......whatever. ' is often heard in my house - like that my teenagers now get to see how annoying it is!

    It’s all utterly ridiculous.

See you when you try to do vMA; farm Lich set; start PvPing

P.S. I also really enjoy small things in this game. In most cases it actually lives up to an MMORPG name and sort of gives it a new level.

It really is pretty damn good.

I remember playing the game at PAX East and being excited about it, then trying the beta and being really disappointed.

I started again a few months ago after trying to love FFXIV for the 10th time. (small quality of life things like the inventory, and the complete lack of customization of builds really turned me off) I found a game with fantastic writing, interesting quests, and almost too much customization.

I'm consistently happy with the writing, having fun with quests, and I'm only level 35. I haven't gotten close to actually theory crafting a build yet.

Game just keeps getting better too. Keep it up ZOS

Yes, awesome game.. but that dang provisioning thing. Took me a while to learn I have to get recipes and cook to level up on provisioning skill. This seems to be one of the harder task to level up in. You don't get much at all for cooking something and have find and cook tons of chicken breasts and pork to level up. Sorry, chub loons and horkers, you all are dying for a good cause. Lol!

I know it's a good game and all.. the better aspect is doing all you can and what you need to get XP to reach 501 CP. I wonder though, all those 501s running around. What are they doing? I wonder, when I finally hit 501, will I see anything more to do in this game or anything more I can enjoy. It's a long road of killing beasties and cronies, trials and dungeons, and keeping on those repeatable quests and world bosses. You're pretty should have gotten all the achievements, by the time you get your 501. I don't know.. just some thoughts or rambling..

Despite of its weaknesses this game is one of the best MMOs i have ever played. After Age of Conan failed ive searched for a long time other non-manga MMO and finaly i found ESO, great story line, beautyful locations that have insane amount of details, guild stores, diversity while creating your perfect build, sieges! Even crown store is healthy (i was concerned when ZOS announced that were going to b2p model but as for now i dont have any issues with crown store). The only games that was able to drag me from ESO was Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 and that says a lot.
I am doing my best, but I am not a native speaker, sorry.

I often get side tracked while trying to complete a quest...I actually love it. Although it creates a conflict with the completioist side of my personality. It's like that annoying fly you have to swat but keep missing (in a good way).

You know painful but awesome at the same time. I really do enjoy this game, I love the pure entertainment and as far as bugs I just honestly have not had that much of a problem. Support tickets I have submitted have been answered and I can genuinely say my experience has been good. Yep I do love this game.

That's when you really having fun. When time doesn't matter and seems to go just as fast as you can with speed pots. My wife and I got home from a movie a while back at 11:00pm on a Saturday night. We weren't tired yet so we hopped on the game to see what was happening in Cyrodil. There was a huge battle going on at the Alessia Farm. By the time it was over and done with, it was almost 2am yet seemed like only 30 minutes had gone by.

I love the game when that happens. Some of the battles I've had in Azura of late are like that. Wave after wave of enemy trying to siege a keep. Such good times!
