Xbox NA - unplayable

I had 12 crashes within two hours last night and at least 8 or so tonight in two hours. This is on top of 3-5 loading screens every single time I enter a new area. I am getting attacked by invisible mobs. I have to wait at least a minute or likely more for NPCs to spawn in new areas I enter. FPS drops to single digits on a frequent basis.

I mean this is just unplayable....

This is primarily in PVE and goes ten times over when in Wrothgar...a five minute quest takes me half hour bc of loading screens and crashes. This is not fun....

Not to mention my XP scrolls have been being completely wasted bc the timer seems to keep ticking in the countless loading screens I keep facing....I mean five minutes of playing the game and you can see this. How is it possible this wasn't known before they released the live DLC? I have been off ESO for like six months and this is what I came back to -- the game was always buggy but at least playable. This is simply unplayable in its current state....so frustrated another night wasted

I'm one of the biggest "shut up, it's not that bad" guys on here.

I'll now shut up. It is exactly that bad. Everything you said is 100% accurate. Moving from the Gold Coast wayshrine to grab a quest at the guild and port out results in 3 to 5 loading screens each time. We're talking about 50 feet here.

Going from the DB Guild hall to the Anvil Castle just gave me 5 more.

I get kicked almost every time I port to the north or south Morrowind gate to return a kill 20 quest.

Shadowfen and Craglorn have the same issues, so I'm assuming everywhere else does too. It's really out of hand now ZOS.

If a ZOS employee is reading this (or Moderator) can we get an update on what is happening to correct this?


Our guild disbanded our group tonight to go play another xbox game until this game gets fixed. We could not play PVP and stay groups due to everyone, 12 people, crashing to dashboard. The dungeon runs are doing the same thing.

They obviously don't test console. Its literally impossible to miss the issues if they played for at least 5 minutes.

How can you miss loading screens in places they shouldnt be?

ZOS needs a reboot.

I played a bit, no problem with my first character. Loading in my second and I didn't even make it out of the bank. Crash I just shut her down and watch Twitter for update

It is so blatant that they care more about meeting arbitrary deadlines than giving us a good product.
I've never been so discouraged with the state of ESO.
Forty dollar shiny cats can't gloss over the fact that this game is broken.
Makes me think we are getting milked by a company that could soon abandon this game.

Its ridiculous how bad the game is on xbox after an update. I haven't been able to log into my magplar for 3 days now because he is stuck in laggy wrothgar, i just get kicked to the dashboard everytime i try to log into him

Why doesnt ZOS reply to posts that clearly talk about a broken aspect of the game? This isnt a random complaint. This has a explanation that ZOS should be able to talk about with us on the forum.

Examples:
'We are aware of the loading screen issue and crashes on Xbox One. The cause of the issue is 'blah blah blah' and it will be resolved in a hotfix next Tuesday.'

Post 3, blue text. Huge wall of well comstructed, detailed, and relevant text to a game mechanic This company continually listens to and RESPONDS to their community daily with actual responses. Not poontless forum mod post warnings and edits.

ESO also has $15 a month subs, which Im on since launch....at this point, should we just click cancel? Because the justification for paying that fee monthly isnt warranted for the broken state of console.

I've actually seen the performance increase drastically within the last week. The only thing I'm dealing with are longer times waiting for things to load in and the lag that causes my fps to drop a little bit.

I'm pretty much one of the least negative people about anything that you would ever meet ... BUT ... I agree with everything posted here. It's been a ridiculous mess that is getting worse with each DLC.

Happening to us on PS4 too and ZOS have acknowledged the problems but I don't know when/if they'll fix them... we're just playing the waiting game now. The loading screens in Gold Coast kinda put me off the quests because it felt too tedious to pick a contract up, fast travel to the location, move towards the target, get a loading screen/slow NPC/Texture load and then go back to the wayshrine, load into gold coast, run towards the sanctuary, get a random loading screen, run some more, get another random loading screen, enter the sanctuary, run to hand in the contract, wait 20+ seconds for the NPCs and textures to load lol... hence why I haven't finished the story yet.

I have submitted countless tickets so they document it...... I get kicked almost every level In maelstrom I can't even submit a score cuz it restarts me which is rediculous.

I avoid all towns nd farm nd grind characters to actually play the game and forget about writs it's impossible to nit get a character stuck....

I'm forced t o find new guilds because my current guilds won't play in these conditions can't do anything without a load screen....

I enjoy the game but enough is enough it may be time for me to find a new game

Completely unplayable for me as well. I cannot load my main character into the game, excessive lag, load screens and crashes. There needs to be a fix very soon or refunds are in order for anyone with an ESO+ membership.

Welcome to ESO TU, where a new DLC means crashes bugs and overall decrease of performance.

I don't get why they don't have playtests of dlc on consoles. If they had players testing the content like they do for the pc version, maybe they could detect these bugs sooner. I wonder if setting up playtest servers for XB1 and PS4 versions would be both possible and feasible.
