BoL change?

I've noticed that BoL doesn't always heal yourself now. Was this changed?! Had the impression that before, you always healed yourself too.

It never did.

But they dropped it down to one 50% heal instead of two 50% heals as the morph perk. This means that their is a greater chance that both heals (the big one and the 50% one) will go to other people and leave you dangerously close to death.
