Okay,so I've ran icp a lot, a lot.. After running it post DB I don't ever want to run it again. I'd like to post some things that felt different, and compare experiences with you all, see if others are experiencing the same.
First boss, a nightmare. He had way less health than previous, but seems to hit twice as hard. Also, entire group noticed very rapid degeneration of stamina, very fast depletion. Couldn't pinpoint the cause though.
flesh sculptor was easy, but I noticed the grenades no longer leave a pool behind, so you must be very exact with their placement. Takes some gettinf used to as previouslt we aimed the poison infront of mobs so they'd walk into it and die.
Watcher boss was about the same, but geysers popped up out of nowhere, 3-5 at a time, more stuns, lots of nofault deaths. This fight was just annoying as ***, but very easy.
Flesh atro boss was easy AF. I noticed he doesn't summon the beatles anymore the same way. This time he runs to the middle to telagraph his attack. Very low chance of dyinf here. Before the update, this was probably the boss that ruined my nodeath runs the most, particularly with the beatles. There's so much easyness now.
last boss felt different too, not sure if its just hardmode, but he jumped around much much much more. Like everyn5 sec he was portin' somewhere else. Seemed like both portals spawned in IMMEDIATELY whereas before you'd have about 1 min for first one, then another 30 sec after. It might jist be a hardmode change, but IIRCHM was just faster portal speed, and the shades changed form faster.
what changes did you guys notice? It feels like they reduced the mechanical difficulty, but salted it with a lot of annoyingn antifeatures. Seems on one they nerfed health, then salted it with ***.
the old version was much funner.
