Forced to Unsheathe Weapon

I'm not sure what ability it is that other players use that causes my character to draw their weapon, but it's really annoying. I don't like my character being controlled by another player in anyway that doesn't involve casting "Fear" on me in versus combat. Could we please remove that affect, and have it just be a cast, but leave the drawing of my weapon to me, Zen?

Yeah it's been like this since forever so I wouldn't hold my breath considering you're not the first person to complain about it.

It is exceptionally annoying. It's DK's molten armaments that does it. Also resto staff's rapid regen/other morph sometimes does it. Sometimes not. It's weird.

I remember reading recently that zos specifically talked about it and how it was being worked on. But yeh. Anytime, and it can't come sooner

Its even more annoying that you have to sheath a weapon to open doors or loot.

And even more annoying that if you click an offensive ability once your character only unsheathes his weapon(s). In order to attack you have to click a second time..

Yeah they really do need to help us on this its a joke.
The last thing I want in a game like this is for other people to be able to control my character.

Canceling my emotes all my time it drives me nuts and this is the last game I'd expect people to get away with this for so long.

But its gotta end.

most buffs/heals will do it. it's annoying but is what it is.z I'd like to see it fixed, but so many things I wanna see fixed more.

At least the Rapid Maneuver shouldn't force unsheathing, because unsheathed weapons lower your speed, but the main goal of this skill is to make you being quicker.

It's even more annoying having to type in my password instead of using my fingerprint or iris scan...

That's actually a bug and results in an inability to continuously heavy attack or be able to sprint unless you weapon swap.
