I haven't noticed a change at all. They're still very easy to find.

There should still be plenty if you run a few rivers.

Irks me that the only Reagent ever asked for on Wrothgar Alchemy Writs is the Nirnroot.

Yes, it's easy to find, normally. Until you need 3 for a Writ, then they just disappear. I do have a favorite place to farm these that has 8 Nodes, plus other crafting nodes, in a fairly small area. When I am running low, I park a couple of characters there that I am currently idling and log to them and farm.

I have noticed that I am getting same instance for each of these characters, even if they are in different alliances. I did some testing this weekend, and if I left a couple of crafting nodes behind, they were the only ones that appeared on my next character log, and if I cleared the area of nodes, I would log in to find no nodes to harvest.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I do alchemy writs on 4 characters and running out of nirnroot is a constant problem. I make a habit of checking guild traders for reasonably priced supplies, otherwise I have 1 or 2 spots were I know there is a reasonable supply.

It is not always easy to find as it is always by water and you often have to go out of your way to get it. Other items can be picked up while moving from point to point during your normal questing but to get a supply of nirnroot you often have to stop everything else and focus on finding it.

Maybe they could make the writs require another reagent from time to time or have the writs return 6 nirnroot instead of 3 when they do give you some back. I definitely use way more nirnroot than the writs give me in return. I swear some days at least 3 of my writs need 3 nirnroot each, even though they are not all delivering to Wrothgar.

I agree, they should not require any reagents. By my count 3/4 of the writs (the magika writ, the stamina writ, the health writ, and the damage health writ being the four) require nirn. I would support all four of them requiring the appropriate leveled solvent.

Will the availability of nodes, such as nirnroot get even more scarce with Tamriel One?

I craft on 8 maxed toons and the nirnroot gets eaten alive.... :'( I do run the rivers and so I'll keep at it. I have the Nirnroot song on loop, I'm in heaven.

I hate them nirnroots now since they make the same noise as the shiny thieves treasure chests.

I used to love them in Morrowind tho <3

I can't say that I've noticed a difference, I do use the nirnroots on writs faster than I pick them up with general play so every now and again I'll have to farm a few. I've found somewhere with several nodes that respawn quite quickly so its not much of an issue to just go get a few

As far as buying them from guilds, I have seen them anywhere from 50g a piece to 1000g a piece. I have bought them occasionally when I have been too busy to farm them.
