Some bugs found in 64 Bit Client - Specifically for ZeniMax

I honestly didn't know where else to put this, so if this isn't the right place, please forgive me. I searched high and low through the forum and saw most bug reports in the [General] section. As the title states, this relates only to the 64 Bit client that I know is still in testing but would like to post out there so that it can be improved upon. :)

Know bugs so far:
-During item gathering [I.E. Mining / Chopping Trees] the character does not possess an actual item in hand to do the task. While this does not affect the way you gather it does appear kind of awkward at times. :worried:

-Infinite loading loop causing me to have to close the game manually and relaunch. [To reflect back on this, I no longer experience this specific bug since the last patch - may have been fixed. Will keep my eye out on this one.]

-During the quest [Special Blend], after giving Nelhilda Kyne's Tears, when she is at the alchemist table, she stands directly on top of it during the potion making sequence.

-Game occasionally minimizes during game play. - [This one here I can't actually verify is game client related but rather related to McAfee, since this didn't start until then. Just throwing this one in, in case there is already a known report on the matter.]

That is all I have noticed on my end for now but will continue to keep my eye out on further bugs. As said earlier above, this is primarily to help the team at ZeniMax pinpoint current bugs on the 64 Bit client and even encourage other players who also use the 64 Bit client of the game, to post in this section so that we may finally get rid of the nasty little buggers.

One futher note:
If it is possible in the main future, I think it might be best to eventually add the ability to launch the 64 Bit client with in the launcher's settings. This way players have an option to use either client.

Memory leak - I watch my system resources like a hawk, and my RAM usage goes up by a small amount every time I hit a loading screen. My RAM usage increases by about half a Gig per hour of play.

Wow, I must not have looked since the last patch.

Thank you for showing me this and feel bad that I overlooked that option.

I did. The launcher option is new. B)

Again great job on the 64-bit client ZOS. Performance has been phenomenal since the last few post DB patches.

I definitely agree on that! Performance jumped on my end to which is why I am hoping ZeniMax will sticky or make a similar structured thread so that we can continue to improve on this client. This way newer players that also use the client and notice issues and or bugs have a post they can turn to in the future.

Again thank you Team ZeniMax.

I haven't actually been watching my system resources closely enough to confirm this, but I think it's happening to me too. Performance on the 64 bit client is better for me for the first hour or two of gameplay, and the longer I play the worse performance gets. Most of the time I don't play long enough in one sitting for it to become an issue, but I have noticed it a couple of times.

Hmm hasn't been an issue for me and I can play all day when I'm off. (Yeah I know, slap me.) In the real world, I actually only play 4-5 hours tops after getting off from work, sometimes less. Performance stays at a constant even in heavily populated towns, while I can easily pull a 60FPS on High settings, I still do notice the cell draw limit from time to time but again, only in towns that are heavily populated.

Again I can't speak for the others because my PC is a custom built rig and not that it even matters, use Windows 10.
Only have 8GB ram though hopefully upgrading to the full 32GB sometime next month.

I'm still having random sound effects played at random times and quite often, like every 10~35 seconds almost any sound plays at a regular range, like 20~70 feets away from the character, from screams to wind sounds, blunt weapons or steps. They usually play during 5 seconds and end up abruptly. I've experienced this issue since my first tries in the 64bit client when it first came out.

Agreed. This has been a persistent issue for me and a couple of my close friends for as long as we can remember (closed beta).

On a positive note, the 64bit client has been substantially more reliable than the 32bit client as of DB. The same issues are still present (namely memory leaks, which may be the cause of and/or related to the denial of transmission of data to and from their server, resulting in FPS drops, latency spikes, and outright disconnects/crashes) but drastically less pronounced than on the 32bit.

Also, I haven't heard a single audio bug on the 64bit client since DB hit live (i.e. hearing a lightning attack or a waterfall in a bank nowhere near either of these things).

Hmm, I used to get that happening constantly with the 64 bit client, but since DB dropped it hasn't happened to me. At one point I thought it was starting to happen again because I kept hearing an ominous daedric-type voice when no enemies were around me. then I remembered that I had the Grievous Ward equipped B)
