Lich farming

Hazar no more need to farm Cyro for lich items...if in ad simply run the desert dolmens and they drop cp160 items. So much quicker spawns and travel times. Hopefully now prices drop from 600k to something more reasonable. One thing though the boss locations seem to have changed. I've had the dremora pirate spawn in the desert which isn't supposed to happen so have fun.

I have received every item at least twice except the Bracers of this set, they are the rarest piece it seems. I got the 250 dolmens AND the generals achievement on a new alt post-DB, hitting up only gold zone anchors; still haven't seen the bracers yet. I do have to say that Dylora's Staff with Charged seems way out of place, but I'm guessing that's because it worked better with the old Charged trait effect and not the new one.

It's funny really back in April I got lucky and got 2 staves...

Got greedy and sold both, now I need it myself.

Hope RNGesus is merciful and gives me my 2 last pieces.

I bought the helm, kept the shoulders, chest in my bank. So 3/5 for me for now.

4/5 for Me, I'm trading most of the time Since the only pcs that i've dropped is the staff. I've done 300+ dolmens and never saw the lich, but the seducer Sister multiple times.

The staff has the most useless now. Guess if you use vampires bane it's fine as they'll burn but meh otherwise. Got me a staff this morning, time to sell it and buy some viper gear.

In which zone do I have to grind dolmens exactly to get the right bosses?

I was surprised to get a couple CP160 Lich item drops.. after the Lich boss shows up at one of the Dolmens. I forget which dolmen I was at, maybe in Grahtwood or Malabar tal. It was one of those CP160 level ones. The latest I got was the Helmet of the Lich and I put that in the guild store (usually at that shadowscale trade guild in Mournhold) and it went quick.

Any cp 160 zone. 4th and 5th location are the best so if you're ad it's desert and bangkorai.

Thank you for sharing this info, I thought you had to go to cyrodiil dolmens only! This makes solo grinding it easier.

I have gotten everything at least twice now except for the darn staff. And I am not paying 600K for one. At least I will not have to go into Cyrodil to farm it anymore

Actually not really Since in Cyrodiil you have a 30% chance to have a boss, compared to the 10% of pve zones

Pve zones you can run 3 before you even reach the 1st one in Cyro.

Why would you be using the staff anyway, the trait is irrelevant as the staff and 5th trait only activate on your back bar, thats why the set is so good

could anyone please explain to me the usefulness of this set? is it a pvp thing? i don't see any use for it in pve

The set regen proc is VERY good. And it procs often. You don't have to "work" the set to get the benefit; just have utility abilities on your resto bar. Plus, you can run a full 2nd 5 piece set on your main damage bar.

Has this always been true? I have done at least a thousand dolmens across all my characters (2 daedric lord slayers and 3 more almost there) and never really paid attention to boss appearances in Cyrodiil. If this is true, I'm going to make a point to do more dolmens in Cyrodiil.

10% chance in cyrodiil unless they changed it this patch.

The trait is awesome when paired with a disease glyph. 64% chance of heal debuff when it goes off.

All CP160 Dolmens and Cyro are equal now since DB, before I believe it was just the final zone and Cyro.

To be honest I've had more bosses in the desert in 2 days then I ever did in Cyro. Complete myth all of it.

They are the same difficulty as dolmens in other CP160 zones.

You might, however, find unexpected and sometimes unfriendly company.

Yeah I went to a dolmen yesterday on black water and ran into a stam Dk. We fought for what must have been 10 minutes neither of us could get the killing blow. Great practice though!

I'll be hitting up those bangkorai and alikr desert dolmens tonight then. Thanks for the info.
