What is your single target DPS best?

The absolute best I can get single target is 30k. That's with 3 aoes, poison inject, endless hail, and burning light (or whatever the stam fighter guild ability is for minor nerf) then jabs at 4k - 6k

Don't got maelstrom or TBS gear yet, so I'm only able to achieve 30k thanks to previous patch nerfs. I was cracking 40k but not now. It's typically 15k - 25k single target.


Edit: I've hit over 100k AOE using steel nado as a finisher. (endless hail on as well)

Too many variables.

Nobody will ever tell you their unbuffed, no AOE, no nothing just straight main weapon DPS. It's a epeen thing, you know.

Which is really the only number that counts, everything else is not sustained, it's burst, which doesn't mean squad ...

I have hit 28k with Reverse Slice that ended up splashing 24k on 3 other targets nearby, so do I consider that 1 hit or 4 hits?

Buffed puncturing sweeps and for very low health targets RD.

Yeah with executioner on dots (two hander vs dual wield) I can rack up easily over 40k if it's at the right time. I'm using FTC, but with dual wield I'm obviousily doing more damage over time in shorter amount of time.

That's the DPS number that counts. Anything else is burst because you can't reliably sustain it.

In that case it's a solid 15-25k.

Yes, this is called baseline DPS. You can easily calculate it on paper, and it will pretty much match what you get if you go out into the world and do DPS testing. If you know your baseline DPS, then you can evaluate different boss fights and group compositions.

Baseline 15-20k, which I feel is more than enough for most content.

I'd prolly get more if I were using dual wield, but I like rally and brawler so oh well.

if we are talking about mobs, for me it s 42k in one hit (sneaky surprise attack) if we are talking players, I can burst 21 to 23K ish people

my best single target is 30.1k dps on bloodspawn, this is self buffed with only a tank to hold taunt, in my guild this is middle of the mill, i believe our highest achiever is 37k doing the same thing. this is straight single target, no extra aoe's, no group buffs, only thing on boss is puncture. only people in are 1 tank 1 dps.
