Sloppy framerate while loading terrain (cities, objects, etc)

So i had a faulty RAM module and i had to remove it, i had a total of 8GB (4gb*2) and now i'm with 4GB, and the game is now super sloppy while walking through towns, mainly when it is loading the buildings, objects and everyone around basically, i don't even want to imagine what it'll be like when i try raiding.
So i checked the requirements and apparently the minimun RAM to run the game is 3GB, which fits in what i currently have, and FYI i'm running on minimum setting except for subsampling and textures, which are on medium. It runs like this with or without addons, i have so few that it doesn't make much impact
So what should i do?
