I love story, I love the feeling of me making a difference in "my world" and doing something better. So far you guys are on the right track, I can steal and kill people; check. I can craft, dye w/ achievements (good idea). I can most of all pick and choose armor that fits my needs (unique then all other MMO's). Here is the problem I am having so far, I end up finding myself skipping the dialogues and go straight for the objectives. Now its turning mindless. So what do we do to condemn this? What can we do to keep things cheap but effective? Because you guys have a justice system, this can actually go well with my idea in mind. Because its a RPG, we can set choices based on who we are as a person. Like if we decide to help 'entirely' we can. If we choose to be shady or just outright murder the person and said, "nope can't find anyone sorry." After awhile, after a series of bad quests there can be hit lists from other players to look for these guys. So therefore there can be a good guy vs. bad guy thing going on. This can impact a person paying attention to the dialogue more. Eventually bad guy or good guy groups can be formed and create heroes or 'horrendous 5' and can rob banks or raid towns, or hold people hostage. See where your mind can go with this? This can really cause a spark in peoples interests. And those that are the top get a perk of being the best. But mind you there can be other groups form up to attack the other player / or group to get the perk. So when a person shows up, you know they are the best as a good person or a bad.

So then what about the guards? They are there as there is experience in people reaking havoc with the justice system before, so that is why they have to be invincible. Good point. With your upcoming leveling system so no matter where you go, the world levels with you can be assessed with this. So the guards can be dangerous but possible to get away. If you don't, you not only lose your stuff, but you also lose everything that is in your possession including your armor and weapons. See? Now there is some way of holding people back, they can't use crappy weapons because the NPC's or heroes will have formidable gear. Now with heroes, same goes with them, if they attack them, they are at risk of losing all of their stuff as well and the enemy can pick up all their stuff. Reaping the rewards can work, but its up to the user to decide if its worth it or not.

So then what happens if there is more bad guys then good guys? Well then NPC's can get in the way and be formidable opponents.

So therefore it can use:

Justice System
Guild System
Dialogue System
Spawn System 'NPC's and Item Generator'
New Leveling System.

    I've got to be honest, I don't entirely understand. I could be wrong but it sounded like you just described GTA xD
