Because in fast paced combat focussed on reacting to dynamic cues I want to choose between
1: Do nothing so that when that boss charges his heavy attack I am not stuck in an animation and thus able to block in time
or 2: Actually do something and run the risk that I then just have to take whatevers coming because the wind up, hit, and wind down animation must all play to completion.
You remove animation cancelling and you will kill the game. It will be combat just like any traditional mmo combat but with no flavour or options as we are all locked into 10 skills 2 ultimates. Make your peace with it, because if you don't like it then you probably just dont like eso.
Ruze is a veteran of the PC Beta, lived through the year one drought, survived the buy-to-play conversion, and has stepped foot in the hells known as Craglorn. He mained a nightlbade when nightblades weren't good, and has never worn a robe. He converted from PC during the console betas, and hasn't regretted it a moment since.
He'd rank ESO:TU (in it's current state) a 4.8 out of 5, loving the game almost entirely.

No problem with reactions on my part and opinion.
It's just, if you stop an animation, don't do the damage. Is that rocket science?
We need to be able to react to combat situations, yes. But Intentionally disrupting animation to increase damage output? That's where I draw the line.

I've always found this incredibly useful when farming. When you're on your mount sprinting you can maintain full speed as long as you keep going regardless of if your stamina bar has run out or not.
