Need help with dragon knight build...

So with the removal of vet ranks, I've been considering revisiting my very first character, a Nord dragonknight, who I previously abandoned at VR3 cuz I had no clue what I was doing at the time (hence Nord lol). Actually still have no clue as far as DK is concerned. My initial plan was to build him into a tank. I don't have any other tank characters so I'm looking to try something out of my comfort zone. My understanding is that stamina DK is better for tank, and magicka DK is better for DPS? I'm just really confused because I prefer the class skills versus weapon skills, but I'm not sure a magicka DK is viable as a tank? It seems all the class skills and morphs are magicka based. Also being a Nord, probably the racial passives are better for tanking since there is no buff for magicka. So any help on which direction to take him is greatly appreciated. I would love some input from both mag and stam dks and especially about what sets you run.
In either case, especially with regards to stamina DK tank build if I choose that direction, what sets are the best? And how should I split the heavy and medium armour? Preferably crafted sets, since I can't be bothered with monster sets UNLESS they can be purchased from a guild trader, and RN-Gesus does not love me. I've been looking at the stats for all the different sets and I'm massively overwhelmed and confused. And what jewellery sets?
