How about a remastered ESO?

Im curious to see if Zenimax has ever considered limiting the amount of people per instance/phase (Lets say 30-40 people, similar to Gta5 or perhaps even less, like Destiny) so that perhaps ESO could achieve more of an open world, without certain restrictions and maybe allow for an increase on the visual aspects of the game?
I know this idea may seem sorta ridiculous, but thought it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Skyrim remastered? Looks like this is just Skyrim with the HD texture pack for consoles. lol And maybe some extra post-processing.

Thank god Zeni were/are alot more ambitious than destiny and gta 5.
If they was actually proper mmo's I might actually be able to play them without sighing and cringing.
By the time gta actually loads I have completely lost any interest in playing it (and that's when its the best it can be lol)
Games like destiny and division are gonna be the death of mmorpg's (sea of thieves being a good example)
I was excited until I learned that it's just gonna be another one of these so called mmo's.

Skyrim Remastered for PS4/Xbox One was a fantastic idea! I'll buy it when the Skywind (aka Morrowind Remastered) Mod releases.

ESO Remastered.... What can ZOS even do?

The main point is to improve graphics/performance and then re-release for extra $$$/community favor.

ESO has about a Remaster's worth of work left to do in performance improvements before I'd ever consider buying another ZOS product (would totally purchase the soundtrack though if the same team works on it). :)

OP I don't think you have seen ESO maxed out on proper rig, those pictures wouldn't impress you in that case...

I remember reading a few months back that FF14 was using a slimmed down version of the (Luminous Engine) same engine as FF15. My mindset was exactly this, that Zenimax is using a Slimmed down version of the Havok Engine and by perhaps adjusting the amount of players in each Phase, that perhaps that would allow for them to fully utilize that engine and allow for more of a single player Elderscrolls'ish visual experience.
I may be talking out my rear end as well.

Dude, hold your horses. Can we at least have an Optimized ESO first?

My Console already stutters in frames when I'm in the Tempest Island Dungeon.

GTA5 online is absolutely terrible unless you know some people. I tried logging in a couple of times and instantly got spawn camped by someone both times before I could even get my bearings. I never logged on again.

Sorry, i only used Gta 5 as a reference for online openworld gameplay.

I do have everything on max settings, getting roughly 60-70 fps @ 1080p. Dont get me wrong, Eso is beautiful but i personally feel the world isn't as "Lush" as the single player games (for certain reasons of course).

This is exactly what it is. They are giving out free upgrades on the PC side if you already own all the DLC or the Legendary edition. Their reasoning; you can get the same looks with mods so why make PC players pay for it.

IMHO any game that came out this decade (2010s) doesn't need to even think about being remastered. that includes skyrim, I don't see the point. Now a Morrowind remaster I'd be all for.

I don't know if that would work the same.
I think PC very high settings are very visually pleasing as is.

For Xbox one and ps4 tho we'd need the Xbox Scorpio assuming it's going to be actually 4 times as powerful from a graphics standpoint and the ps4 version as well as the game setting to enable the higher specs

Oh, free for PC? Cool. Maybe there will be some official fixes to bugs that have been fixed via unofficial patches. The less ESPs needed the better.

I wonder if I can use my mods on the new Skyrim or do I have to start from scratch?

Skywind will not be releasing on console. It requires importing Morrowind assets and doesn't really have Bethesda's approval.

    :(

Hundreds of thousands of people will be downloading it. Maybe Bethesda will see how awesome that mod is and work something out? I know you are totally correct and can only hope at this point for a miracle.

Let them polish this back into a shine, first. Then, we have the Neo and Scorpio versions to which to look forward. I'm excited for those upgrades, personally.
