Stam sorcs, Newbie here.

I would like to tryout stam sorc, they seem like a fun class to play with.

- What races best suited for stam sorc? dps
- What are my main armors type?
- DW/SnB or 2h/bow? solo leveling, group pvp, 1vX
- Are we high burst class, sustain, or rogue type. hit in and out till he dies.
- Are we the lowest dps dealing class for pvp?
- Will i struggle aloot, without any cp from 1-50?

Any stam oriented race will do good redguard/orc/bosmer etc

- What are my main armors type?

5med must have. In the end game may be you'll like to mix armour (for undaunted passive) but anyway you should use at least 5 med.

- DW/SnB or 2h/bow? solo leveling, group pvp, 1vX

Solo leveling DW and\or 2H in any combination. Bow for group PvE in some cases. For PvP it depends on playstayle and role, so you can play any stam weapons, they are all good for different roles.

Sustain is more efficient for SSorc, but you have good mobility so you can engage and disengage during PvP

- Are we the lowest dps dealing class for pvp?

I depends on build and playstyle a lot too much factors.

- Will i struggle aloot, without any cp from 1-50?

Maybe, depends on you skill, the worst player on the absolutely broken build can suck. And a skilled player on underdog build can well

Yes, mainly because the skills you need for stam sorc open up later in the skill trees compared to he pretty decent tool kits NB's and Templars have early on.

hey is it better off to go full magicka points while leveling, then switch everything to stamina at cap? my current build will be 2h/bow, 2 skills of 2h, and poison inject.. rest are on sorc skills, then switch off 1 skill for vigor. Or should i rush momentum for that sweet health regen early levels?

i was thinkin of 2h/dw but im not sure if steel tornadoe is better than bows aoe for leveling

no, it's better to go stamina from begining.
and there is no need to rush momentum

i was thinkin of 2h/dw but im not sure if steel tornadoe is better than bows aoe for leveling

DW is very good, an tornado is the best AoE skill and you can use it with Hurricane very effectively.
Really after DB patch 2H is not backbone of stam build anymore. DW\DW is also very good build.
For stam sorc you need to focus to open class stam-build morphs early: crit surge (for dmg buff and some healing), hurrcane (AoE and armour) and bound armaments (stamina pool + armour).
Healing you can get also from blood craze and bloodthirst (both DW skills) in the very begining of leveling.

- all skills you unlock are based of magicka, and stam morphs are not until high level ( 30s+ )

- what 2h skills do i mainly used for high burst? dizzle swing, crit rush, excute? all these are early level, so do you think i should rush these first or just use DW then level 2h around lv 40-50
- Bow skill, is poison injection the only skill we use in this tree? ( im going for high mobility, and high dps build )

In the begining difference between your pools is not much so there is no vivid difference between pool scaling dmg, the main point is armor that will open regens and other bonuses while leveling. If you go stamina in the future you need to level medium armor, but magika skills with medium armor is ineffective. If you will go magika in light armor you will need to level med when you'll be going to switch. And any way main of your DPS skills will be weapon (also stamina). So it's better to focus stamina from beginig.

1 good healing on low levels
2 goog spam skill (especcially with champion points)
3 best AoE
4 LoTs of DoT options
5 synergies with CC
6 there are range skill (if you have no bow it can help in some situations)

1 no gap closer (Sorcs can use streak instead)
2 no focused finisher (althougt all DW skill has slight finishing passive and tornado has slight finishing efffect)

About bow skills in PvE they are needed for some bosses but in the most cases DW or 2H are more effisient. Bow has also good AoE and DoTs but there are now good spamming.

I dont know if it technically counts as a stamina sorceror or not, but I set my khajiit sorc up with 7/7 heavy armor, dual wield + 1h/shield, and geared my attributes towards stamina. using hurricane, critical surge, bound armaments, etc.

Between all the mitigation and self healing/aoe damage, I think stamsorcs will make good tanks now. Looking forward to trying it anyways. Technically it's more of a hybrid build with the heavy armor though, i'll have more magicka regen and spell damage at my disposal so I can get away with using some magicka abilities without them being completely ineffective.

Everything you can and will encounter was designed for non-CP, and it's widely believed that non-vet content is all but a complete joke anymore. A year and a half ago, it would have been suicide to run as a stam sorc anywhere. But this isn't really about class, though there are some disparities end-game. During the leveling process your should be attentive: interrupt, dodge, block, and have some form of healing. That being said, your relative power to other players is always going to be drastically lower until you get CP, which is the definition of progression in ESO.

how do you feel about stam sorc current state ? and how do you compare yourself to other classes? ( just a general question )

also, what skill tree should i be focusing on leveling? i feel as the summoning tree is useless for me.. should i just leave this tree out, then maybe grind it before hitting 50? Or keep atleast 1 skill in my bar while leveling..

btw what armor sets should i try to get as i level? ( i have this friendly guild, that helps out alooot and even crafts me sets!)

In the weirdest of contradictions Plenials Apptitude set 3 med 2 heavy 3 light all training may be the best set up for leveling a stam sorc.

Just because it allows you to slot endless fury, a relatively early unlocked skill, and not just be wasting a load out spot.

It's a contradiction because while it's a great leveling set and a great non CP set its 9 trait craft able which isn't impossible to come by but is not easy either.

I personally wouldn't level magica first stam sorc is just a struggle leveling in non vet PVP solely because what you need to be competitive unlocks very late which can get frustrating.

Pelinal's aptitude only works on spell/weapon power. At the early stages of the game, the majority of your spell/weapon power comes from your weapon. A stam character at this stage won't be lacking spell power but rather maximum magicka.

My stam sorc has a stam regen of 900, though with black rose it helps quite abit... but if I do run out of stam (which is not often as you'd expect) I just smash dark deal and boom fully restored and back to action!
