vMA Stage 7 Poison working as intended?

Hey,

It´s the first time that I am in Stage 7 and now I am sitting here dying instantly cause of that stupid Poison Damage. Is the only way to beat this to not get poisoned? Cause I have no chance to reach "the holy water" (If you are lucky and it´s still green when you are there...). The Poison always gets me killed in like one or two seconds.

What am I doing wrong, what should I do?

Be more specific. When are you being poisoned?
And yes you pretty much need perfect rng for that stage.
You need to focus down the venom callers as soon as they come out, they make the flowers explode on the ground and poison you. In between rounds I usually make the flowers explode on purpose by using whatever major expedition buff you have on your class or a potion for it and getting near a flower and backing away instantly. I just do it to the most inconveniently placed flowers specifically.
I can explain more but again, need to know exactly when you are being poisoned.

Forget cleansing it, unless you plan to fight the stage standing in the pool. Don't let it hit you is the way to go. What class are you playing on?, I know as a stamina DK you can reach the pool if you use corrosive armor.

Yes, I meant the venom callers. As soon as they "hit" me I am basically dead, cause I can´t reach the water in like 2 secs.
I am playing as a stamina Templar, so I guess I should use more the speed sigil?
The plants on the ground I can avoid most of the times.

Yeah on templar you can get to pool with BoL/honour the dead but far better to avoid the poison pods.

I don't like to pop them and rather leave them where they are because if you pop one a new one will appear and this could be (and often is) right under your feet which is very irritating.

RNG Poison hell round will forever be my ban.
If you aren't a magic build or have access to a strong heal/shield/mitigation ability you are essentially screwed if you get poisoned.

My poor, poor stamblade never stood a chance.

stamdk stuck in stage 7 boss RNG just wont let me finish it I got the boss @ 5% and the poison got me.

Its a L2P issue.
Okay on the more serious side though its really not hard to avoid the flowers just look at your surroundings and stay away from flowers.
The only rng problem here is getting a flower close to you while you have to get under the lightning bubble to not die from boss scream

Vigor and rally spam on your way over there..if you don't have these 2 skills you have no chance of finishing round 9 crystals as you need to constantly heal through the dot. These 2 sort my NB out on round 7 perfectly fine.

- play as close as possible to one of the green pools, so you can purge the poison if you take it: this is bad strategy if you are aiming for a top score as you waste a lot of time, but it is the best thing to do if you want to play safe
- leave your safe spot only to attack archers and venomcallers; look at the position of the plants and plan your route accordingly; with some experience you will learn how they are timed
- accept the fact that, especially in this stage, if the game wants you to die you will die no matter how good you are
- in my experience, the hardest stage (after the final boss) is #5 and you won it; so your build and skill are ok, just go on and try harder

god damit, I have done it after like 154 death.
The most difficult part is really to avoid get poisened, it hits me every half second for 6k or something. And then you have to pray that there is no poison under the shield...

Try using harness magicka. Even on a stam build for that round. Works wonders on the poison..
