Finally finished the download. Looking around at the updates and two things are bugging me.

So you dangle this crafting bag in front of us and we have no access to it unless we pay for eso plus. That is just plain not fair. Not all of us can afford $15 a month. My financial situation fluctuates from month to month. If you made it something that could be bought with a one time purchase, I would buy it when I could. But I have other finances. So I don't get to use this option. I can get to it, but I can't use it.

gold complaint retracted.

Seriously, these two parts of the update are just not fair and they need to be changed.

You don't have to pay gold to craft, they just moved the value of the equipment to the bottom.

As far as the crafting bag..It was created, marketed and implemented as a subscribers only perk :)

edit cause i cant spell

Not sure what you mean by paying gold to craft ... it's still free to craft after you've rounded up the raw materials.

Numerous threads already on the crafting bags ... if you haven't seen any it's because you haven't been in the forums in awhile.

    - Worst thread title ever
    - Crafting bags has been discussed to death (hint: try entering "craft bag" in the shiny search input and hit the "go" button)
    - Pay gold to craft, wut ?

Sorry to say, but if you cannot afford 15 dollars a month for entertainment, you need to prioritise things in your life to where you are not gaming. ZoS needs something that makes having ESO+ worthwhile when DLC is not being dropped. That is one of the benefits. I disagree with you.

The other thing getting to me is, why are we now having to pay gold to craft? This has to be the most moronic part of the update. We already have to hunt down most of our crafting items. But now we have to pay gold to make armor, weapons and anything else we need to craft. This is just stupid. Seriously, what moron thouht of this?

We do? Damn, crafting has become such a habitual thing for me I didnt even notice this? I will check when I do crafting tonight though..Cant say I agree with this either, if Im supplying mats that should be enough?

Don't say that, you have no idea what people's situations are or how their priorities should be set. For a few years I was an independent software contractor and some months I was flush while other months I was broke because some client was being a ***** about paying an invoice. I guess I should have quit gaming, one of my favorite hobbies, when that happened?

To the OP: when I was in the situation of having fluctuating monthly income I found that having a strict budget/savings strategy allowed me to keep things like my entertainment funds flowing even when the upstream cash flow ran dry. Try that route if you can, the crafting bag really is worth it!

I have been crafting for a while crafting bags are not a necessity don't know why people are complaining about this. Like others said if your financial situation is so tough then perhaps you should not be online gaming right now. We all have had those times in our lives where we just couldn't afford things. So if things are really that tight you might need to step away from entertainment for a bit get an emergency fund of at least a month or 2 of earnings then you will be in a better place and have a crafting bag.

I wish you all the best.

My income is entirely on commission. Some months I get a lot and other I get just enough. I am good at what I do so I can get by, but no two paychecks are the same. I "prioritise" just fine for my situation. That's why I DON'T pay for eso plus. And seeing as how I work 12 hour days, anoher job isn't in the works. That is my situation. Not everybody makes a solid dollar amount every month. So don't tell me what my priorities should be. You don't know me well enough to go there.

As I said to the jerk who thinks he knows enough to tell me about my priorities, I work 4 days a week for 12 hour days entirely on commission. No two checks are the same. I just so happened to have enough on my last check for the DB. Next month might be different. I have always made enough to get by but at times I do have to cut entertainment from the budget. On my three days off I have other responsibilities to tend to. Those are my business though. So I do budget. But it's never gonna be safe enough to add another 15 dollar payment to the mix.

Well, I'm sorry that $15 is too rich for your blood, but the crafting bag is almost assuredly going to stay an ESO+ perk. If the tire fires we've had here in the forums about it have not changed ZOS's mind then little else will.

    Losing money while crafting.....

Well there is an option to "buy materials" on the crafting screen.

So if you were not really paying attention to what you were doing while crafting and hit the buy instead of the craft, then yes that makes sense.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

the crafting bag situation is really unfair. crafting bag offers a tremendous advantage in the amount of time that it saves anyone who uses it.

I'm thinking, every time a new thread is created complaining about crafting bags, I'm going to donate $5 to my favorite charity. I think $5 is a good number as this is probably going to add up very quickly with the way things have been going since crafting bags went live.

On a serious note, you can purchase a one month sub, access the bag, and spend that month building up a really nice stock of materials. You will keep your crafting bag, but will not be able to add to it. The materials you collect during your month of subscription will remain in your bag, and out of your inventory. When you find yourself in a position to sub for a month in the future, pad your existing --possibly dwindling-- stock.

It isn't 100% ideal, but it is a solution that doesn't cost you every month.

Ha!, You beat me to it. This is it exactly Just sub when you need to stow inventory. Most of the advantages, less cost.
