Blade Of Woe (CONSOLE)

So ok I noticed a issue with this if your a vampire, its the same buttons to use the blade as it is to feed, today iv had so many bounties because iv lined it up for blade of woe and the npc then steps forward left or right etc and then I end up feeding of them which is something I DONT want to do, could we please please get a toggle vampire feeding option,, im not the first that's having this issue I have guild members complaining about it to, or even change the feed button to a hold button A for instance.

Please do something to fix this as im loving using the blade but really want my vamp to stay at stage 4

I found this also just make sure if you wanna use blade of woe get up close and it will leave you with that option only.
Its not ideal but its something to work with.

I try get as close as possible but with having to get closer than my none vamp character its proving difficult to not get caught that close, really holding out that thay might do a change (Im a optimistic lol) to the button configuration or a toggle option either should be easy to implement

Yeah it works with range, if you are not very close the feed option will appear, if you get closer the Blade of Woe option will appear instead

This issue has been pi$$ing me off as well. It is so annoying pressing the buttons just as the game flickers between blade of woe and feed resulting in the character accidently feeding on, instead of assassinating the target.

It may be a small criticism, but it ruins the stealth experience. I play on the Xbox and I can’t imagine it would be too much work for Zenimax to change things so that the feed action is Y+B and blade of woe is Y+X. Honestly, I can’t imagine this would be challenging to implement on PS4 either, and (as someone mentioned PC) it would be even easier on PC as they have a whole keyboard of buttons to choose from; why'd they bother making it the same in the first place...

This is has to be an easy fix – come on Zenimax, LISTEN TO YOUR PLAYERS!

Can we toggle on and of feeding action, I hate that people accidentally fall in my teeth instead of blade. I stopped it on vamp as soon as I realised how stooooopid it was going to be. Why not toggle on and off the feed?

Oh, that can get quite annoying. I have the same issue with the x button. It can be use as both the jump and picking up stuff. If it is not timed right, you can be jumping instead of picking up stuff or if you press it for pick up, then it jumps instead. Yes, this one is a minor annoyance and no big deal.. but yes, for the vampire thing, that would be very annoying, thinking you're about to do the blade of woe, but then you're surprised and you attack an NPC, instead. That's a disadvantage with console, there are limited buttons, so there is no other choice than to duplicate buttons for actions. It would nice if we have the options to slot the actions, similar to slotting the active abilities of the skillset.

I'd prefer a 'stealth action bar' and just make 'feed' and 'blade' stealth actions to be slotted on the bar. Because of stubby fingers, pressing two buttons at once with same finger/thumb is a pain (about 20% success rate), I inevitably end up doing either Y or B, but not the combo. I have to turn the controller a bit and press them with my forefinger/middle finger to get it to be simultaneous (100% success rate). I have an elite controller, but haven't figured a way to program for multi-button input on a single button yet... Will look again, though...

Just think it'd be easier for them to give everyone a stealth bar, and make stealth abilities.

It became such a problem on PC that several Add Ons were made to suppress the vampire feeding. I really feel for the console players who don't have this option. ZO$ really needs to do something about it now.
