I almost feel insulted that out of 63 keys with guaranteed shoulders I only get literally 2 I need/would use... And one is light Skoria infused..

Yea that sucks. I kid you not. I opened about 50- nothing special at all.... I opened about 5 silver keys and got 2 light divines molag kena. Never had them before.

Also a friend of mine got divines kena from silver... Coincidence?

I see a lot of usable piecies for DPS (infused and divines) and tanks (sturdy). I can only assume you already have them if you only found 2 or that you aren't using the Undaunted passives (which you should be).

I otherwise see alot of deconstruction materials (training and prosperous) and niche/experiment build piecies (well fitted and reinforced).

Yeah I'm magicka dps and run 5/1/1, 5 light 1 heavy 1 medium so ideally I want infused or divines light shoulders, which i managed to get not all that many of.

I had only 10 gold keys and got all warden ones with crap traits and I would never use the set

I also just used my 60 odd silver keys and got a fair few shoulders, but I'm not even going to list them because majority are with trash traits.

When you use 120 undaunted keys and are guaranteed shoulders (for half of those keys at least), you'd kind of hope to get some '10/10 drops' from those keys. Key word, hope, not expect.

Including 10 Training, 9 prosperous and 0 Impenetrable.

2 light armor reinforced and 5 well fitted (useless for PvE).

That's 26 useless or extremely subpar shoulders. 32 if you consider Infused to be trash (I give it a "decent" mention for shoulders, even if we all agree that's it far from being BiS, but at least if has some some use).

Could increase the number, since Bogdan and Warden are mostly meh.

Lol pretty much spot on. I've already broken down all prosperous, training, reinforced and well-fitted; as very rarely pvp. Kept the light infused shoulders as I'll probably use them till I get divines. Everything else I kept, even though I only use light, more for safe keeping I guess, if I decide to build other characters which I will.

Looks like you are being awfully biased. So much so i was tempted not to reply because I hope the community is clever enough to realise and draw their own conclusions from the data.

I edited your post to show you the drops you got in the traits you want.

• The fact you dont like a particular monster set is irrelevant, (to traits)
• The fact your one? DPS wants to wear light, irelevant
• The fact you either don't want to make use undaunted mettle? or feels that they have to have heavy item as chest and medium as legs. is because you are misinformed or being naive.

The armor value on a shoulder matches legs boots, and head. so a medium shoulder is perfectly good if you use undaunted mettle. the difference between a heavy chest and medium chest is 688, and the difference between heavy shoulder and medium shoulder is 602 (legendary). so if you have a medium chest and heavy shoulder 688-602 = 86 armor lost. and FYI

Edit: 500 to 750 armor is about 1% mitigation. If you are literately throwing away perfectly good shoulders because of 0.1% to 0.2% mitigation loss. Then i think the issue is not the RNG.

28.5% of your drops were in the trait you wanted.

I personally think infused shoulders is a waste 70 extra magicka/stamina ~7 spell/weapon damage equivalent. when you could gain just under 1% crit chance/damage or 15 extra recovery with divines

19% of your shoulders were divines which for me is best in slot. is very very good results. especially if its guarenteed shoulder per key. FAR FAR FAR better than before.
