Error 209

I had a power outage yesterday while the game was updating after the maintenance, when I open the launcher again I got the 209 Error. I checked the knowledge base and tried all the steps there. I then proceeded to mail customer support and they sent me an auto-reply that was not helpful at all. The game prompted me to repair, and now it's downloading 38GB again. How is it possible that all the files can be corrupt? Is there any other way besides having to download the full game again, because I have painfully slow internet.
