New Content or Fix the Game?

Maybe I am the only one but let's find out. The makers of this fine game have said they would release new content every quarter. That is awesome, if maybe a touch over ambitious. But what if they stopped releasing new content until they fixed all (or at least most) of the bugs in the current version. Would you be upset that they went back on their word if this was their intent?

There will be always bugs. You cannot fully recover this game, it is simply impossible. Let's say you fixed most of the things, when you release a new content you will break again. In fact, I do not think that this is what devs trying to do. Release new content, try to gain new players, sweep broken things under the rag. Current I'm neither happy nor unhappy about state of the game. Just playing, as long as I can. Is it unbearable?, say goodbye to friends and take break. This is my method.

If Zenimax took the time away from releasing new content to fix what is live and then release new content only to have what was fixed break again that would be wasted time and money. It's better they do all their DLCs first and THEN go back and touch things up. That way nothing can re-break it.

Also they have stated they will not go back and tweak anything but continue to move forward instead. All the changes and broken stuff we endure is part of the evolutionary process.

Trying to get flawless conquerer on vet maelstrom has become darn near impossible since the lag and disconnects brought on by thieves guild. Not sure the game can handle much more of this when terrible lag disrupts PvE content to this extent.

After Housing they could focus on fixing, thats if Housing is what I believe its. First thing is to give players something to do, then comes bugs/fixs, imho. After Housing there should be more than enough to do.

Honestly, the game's not broken.
Sure there are teething problems with some DLC, and Cyrodiil Lag/problems are never really going to go away.

Any issues seem to be either systemic and won't be going away (like the AvAvA problem/s), or minor. It's always the case in MMOs; nothing is perfect. Compared to a perfect world, sure the game seems broken. But compared to the real world and what can be expect in relation to other games in the genre, no it's not broken in my opinion.

They can do both, and in fact have been doing both, each content patch comes with bug fixes and each patch the game has been getting better.
