So why not focus on the one we have and advocate for change...rather than talk about the next version, which could be years away if ever.
Hell, DCUO has been dying for the last five years or so...
Pretty much this^^^, wow will die, eso will die, eq will die, enjoy while you can games as we know it will die at some point.. and part 2's never seem to work very well.
It has been almost 12 years and WOW is still not dead yet. Unfortunately, the life of ESO will not even last half of that. Zenimax should of taken some notes from its predecessors.
Wouldn't be so sure of that yet. Zenimax is constantly turning heads with every DLC, thus extending its playability.
The day zero bugs/exploits says other wise.
This isnt true. Its just your opinion.I and tons of other players, obviously, find ESO to be quite playable.
Some of the issues are annoying and exploiters of some outrageous acts should indeed be penalized for doing so but whuddyagunnado... I don't like them but they aren't gamebreaking like Skyrim's bugs were.
That is the problem. You are comparing a single player game to an MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online game)
No I'm not. I'm comparing the bugs from one game to the bugs from another in quantity and quality. Has nothing to do with the games themselves.
Seriously though Skyrim was totally unplayable and I am hoping the remake is not a repeat of that hot mess...
Skyrim was so buggy because single players games do not receive weekly updates ( due to no monthly fee or subscription services) which allows game developers to be financially supported to keep a staff of game developers to patch their game/ make it less buggy from weekly maintanence. MMO's do so. This is an MMO, so comparing a patched single player game to an MMO is like comparing apples to oranges.
Actually it is possible to update single player games via DLC and patches. Perhaps not back then but now it is. At least with that said the remake will have a chance to be playable now if it comes out the same as before.
Yes, I know single player games get patched, however the frequency is not high like MMO's. So comparing an single players buggs to an MMO where consumers pay a montly fee or store item purchases that support an development team thats very job is too make a game more stable is not right.
Well I could easily compare the bugs and exploits in this game to many others I've played both single and multi player but they were never gamebreakers like Skyrim's. Skyrim is literally the only game I found unplayable, regardless of it being single or multi player. It basically builds a tolerance to piddly bugs and exploits like ESO has.
Why are you still using a single player game as an excuse for Zenimax's lack of game fixes for the past 2+ years in their MMO. This is pointless to debate. Good day lol.
Because as I already said the bugs in ESO are piddly in comparison to the ones Skyrim suffered from. Doesn't matter what kind of games they are ESO is not unplayable. If it was it really would be dieing.
What are you talking about. You are the one who first mentioned ESO's playability. I posted about the bugs/exploits that are still in the game after 2+year that haven't been patched. And also disputed you about you believing ESO will last as long as World of Warcraft which is ludicrous. WOW has been out since 2004 and still has more subscribers than ESO. And Skyrim was playable. Many people have finished the games story line.
Its a fun and good game NOW. From what i saw back then ESO looked pretty crap, and they wanted a subscription? Joe was right in his review. Im positive his tone would be different now if he did the review again.
By the sound of it you weren't here or played it so remind me again how you can give an opinion mate?
I like how you take everything someone else says as law and written in stone though, way to have an opinion for youself! - claps
