Volenfell-todays silver pledge cannot be completed

So patch notes say:
Dungeons
Volenfell
It is no longer possible to kill Quintus Verres prior to summoning the Monstrous Gargoyle.

Now the boss dont die when have 0 HP and cannot be killed so the part of the quest is not completed.
Tried dungeon 2 time with same result also when we left group we got nice 10 min cooldown thanks!
Also asked in zone chat ppl have same problem.
The Monstrous Gargoyle dont jump down and is stuck in rocks, we also killed it but Quintus Verres was still alive with 0 hp.

    Same thing happened to my group, we killed the Monstrous Gargoyle where it was stuck and he was still alive and chased us with 0 HP to the beggining of the dungeon when we tried to reset him.

    GJ, probably the most completed quest in the game, silver pledge.

    Lets make a change to Vollenfell and screw the boss up.

    Thank you for reporting this. We are aware there is an issue with the Gargoyle getting stuck and preventing Quintus Verres from being killable. We are working on correcting this issue.

    In the mean time, please exit the dungeon and wait 20 minutes before returning to completely reset the dungeon. When attempting to complete the dungeon again, please make sure to avoid killing Verres until the gargoyle is fully summoned.

    They already did, about 2 years ago, hence all these kinds of issues getting through.

    This big has been around forever and ZOS doesn't care. You have to wait until the gargoyle is spawned before killing him.

    Before the patch, players were able to kill Quintus before the Gargoyle was even summoned, and therefore skip the whole part there.

    Quintus is supposed to become invulnerable at about 20% damage, summon the Gargoyle and then be able to be killed.

    After the patch, Quintus can still take damage below 20%, but does not die at 0 health. He summones the Gargoyle, which lands on top of a building and even if you kill the Gargoyle, Quintus still runs around with 0 health.

    This is not what have been around "forever" because the old bug, you could still proceed, as here you can not.

    I do not know if the workaround works, but theoretically it should, like I have stated in my original thread about this:

    Not killing the messenger btw.

    I came back 20 hours later, tried the "work around" and still no way to complete this mess. No Undaunted xp gained and no key which really sucks for the time spent trying to get around the new "feature".

    Again, @ZOS_DaryaK I appreciate the response and the work around...but why in the world would a recently patched pledge be the very next one up? It's an imperfect world, so why not give the fix a chance to see if it's bug-free, before making it that day's pledge?

    Oh I dont know. seems like they have been doing a pretty good job of it, since around launch.

    Also not shooting the messanger, but last week I tried that fix. Quintus does not die. It doesn't matter if he summons the gargoyle or not, he has been given the Wayrest guard buff.

    Any chance this will be on the hotfix list for this week? This is the last dungeon I need to complete and would be nice to be able to do silver pledges here again...
