Mutagen Spamming Emperors

I'm seriously curious... hasn't anybody (including ZOS) ever realized how messed up that actually is? for somebody to be allowed to follow groups/the main zergs of a faction in Cyrodiil, spamming the Restoration Staff heal "Mutagen" to gain mass Alliance Points quicker than anybody (usually) and the average player, resulting in them being #1 on the leaderboards every campaign and also the highest rank too? (On PS4 EU, FYI)
It's been over a year now for us console plebs and of course we're used to Mutagen spammers, but it baffles me that it's still a thing.
I'm not really complaining here, but think about it. Look at the bigger picture. Who should be rewarded more, somebody spamming Mutagen or somebody getting involved in taking keeps, resources, KILLING players and defending... ? it's an obvious answer for the non-Trolls.

Yeah, or rapid regen... and that's what I'm talking about. Many players from my own faction have moved to other factions because of certain players who only hog the leaderboards every campaign with their mutagen spamming...

✭✭I used to love healing groups/zergs back in the day because it reminded me of being a healer in AV on World of Warcraft and stuff, but when I found out that I was gaining more AP & ranks for it, than those who actually kill and take keeps/resources/defend, it shocked me...
I scrapped my healing build many months ago and have been enjoying small scale PvP/1vX ever since, and sure I'm never up there on the leaderboards but I don't care about Emperorship, I just think it's a shame that it comes down to that....

✭✭Tried switching to heals recently when I was attempting to figure out a magicka build, but it seemed slower than the AP you earn just from fighting. You will see lots of tiny AP ticks from healing, but every time you kill someone solo you get between 600 to 1500 AP.
The players you see at the top of the campaign leaderboards are just people who spend a lot of time playing, whether they are healers, gankers, master masons, etc., is not relevant.
The key factor is just playing all day and night. If you've been playing the game for a while, you know how to earn a certain amount of AP per hour hour, whether you are healing or killing.
At any rate, I certainly don't mind if a healer earns more AP than me and becomes emperor - the more healers the better!

I guess it depends where they are.
If you're trying to set up a gate farm, a bridge farm, or attacking my keep I'm busting you with siege pure and simple. Should I feel ashamed?

Rainteal✭✭✭I had a guy accuse me of leaching AP because I, as a healer with a Maelstrom Resto Staff, was using Mutagen in a PvP group. He told me the HoT was junk and that I was just stealing the AP other people were working to get.
He appeared surprised when I noted the powerful heal that would happen if he got low on health, and I had to explain to him what the Spell Power Cure buff that he was receiving did as well. I have always been a bit turned off to healing in Cyrodiil because of this attitude.2 -
