Stop Being Mean to Twitch Streamers - I Mean It

Okay, I've seen enough salt toward twitch streamers to match the saltiness of the Dead Sea. Why?? Why hate these people who've helped the ESO community so much? Yes, a few of the top streamers are pretty skilled and often get people following them in PvP. Does that mean they're awful people? Hell no! These streamers don't exploit, run zergs, be ***, or anything. Yes, there are some streamers who can be jerks, but that's very rare. Most are having fun and actually help the ESO community.
For all the people who follow streamers in PvP, they're just tagging along because it's someone who's well-known. That streamer isn't running a zerg.

What you're asking for is impossible. There is something about anonymity. Something about being behind a mask, that emboldens people to say some really effed up things to people. From behind their keyboard they will say things that would probably never be said in a face to face conversation. The internet. For all it's fun and helpfulness there are always people who want to hide beneath bridges and smell like [snip].

So for all those streamers/bloggers/anyone who posts anything anywhere online, the risk of someone being a total salt lick to them is there. It sucks, It's like being famous except without all the money and drugs...

I rarely watch any streamers . The ones I do watch don't need any protection . They knew what to expect when they got in .

+1. This right here! Really sad tbh.

I respect most of the top/semi-top streamers. If I don't like a streamer, I just don't watch them when they stream.... simple. Never will I go and spread hate or say terrible things to or about the streamer.

Enjoy watching streamers in general, including some of the well known ones. What does gripe me from time to time, is the attitude of certain streamers. Their attitude toward other players when streaming alliance war. Let me be clear, that I do participate in the alliance war, so this not me complaining because I was killed by whoever is this game.

It's not that big of a deal. The internet is what it is...and when I say something controversial like "buff ward and make shields unstackable" and people come out call me a crack head, insult my mother, Call me the N word, and tell me to crawl in a hole and die... I shrug it off.

Or when a nightblade can't kill me no matter what he uses in his tool kit and he flips out, tells me my build is complete *@#$@#* and I need to stop mitigating his attacks I'll be super nice, and talk to them about their issue.

At the end of the day... these people feel like crap and want you to feel like crap. OR they're just saying random *** for a laugh...and the proper response to this is...to laugh yourself.

Well it can depends on why. For instance, Last night i was in bed with my almost 2 yr old daughter while she was watching a movie so i just hopped on the internet and watch somebody on twitch since i couldnt game at the time. People have different circumstances where they cant game at that moment but have access to be able to watch streams.

As a streamer and all things dealing with the internet it comes with territory I don't mind the haters because they're still helping you out even if they don't know it if it gets too bad you can always just ban a person out your stream but just focus on entertaining your viewers you if you don't play into their game the troll eventually will get frustrated and leave
