Can't use Quest items

As the title states I have not been able to use a number of quest items. Something is wrong, this has only started to happen within the last couple of days. ZOS please look into to this

Turn those off and give it a try ...

Also, you might get a faster response by posting this in the "General Help" forums and not "General Discussion". Be sure to list your ticket number (you did send an in-game help ticket on your issue, yes?).

@Aquanova Go to my thread about Cadwell's quests not working - the E trigger for using items is broken and people posted a solution there https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/270370/cadwells-silver-ep-is-broken-the-initiate-quest-is-not-working

Please make a comment too. Using quest items by pressing E is completely broken and support is not helping troubleshoot the problem. Even brand new settings without any addons and everything set to default doesn't fix the problems, yet they have us waste time disabling and recreating everything. I'm pretty sure they'd have us reinstall the whole game before they even would consider it's on their end, which it is.

I wondered about that! I couldnt use the Mantle in one quest unless I went into my inventory and activated it from there.

@Volkodav Yeah, they broke the E button for using quest items. Even spamming the button won't use the item; just tells you that the item isn't ready. Absolutely ridiculous.

And support took forever to respond; honestly, I hope they read my thread since I linked it to them. They seriously need to fix this.

@ZOS_JessicaFolsom @ZOS_GinaBruno The E trigger is still broken and there has been no acknowledgement that it is, yet multiple people have created threads and tickets saying the same thing. Please bring this to the programmer's attention.

I'm sure they do care.Do they have time at the moment to insta-fix it? That's the question.
