64-bit client - crash on login?

I just wanted to try out the 64-bits client, thus proceeded to launch it directly from the EXE in D:\[...]\TESO\The Elder Scrolls Online EU\game\client, but there is always a crash right after entering the password and login in.

    @Valwe I'd suggest avoiding bumps, as they are not allowed by the rulez. ESO stuff you know...

    On a side note: updating CPU drivers as mentioned in another thread (can't find it) didn't work. Updating GPU didn't work either, so I'm kinda running out of ideas right now...

    Server was definitely up at that time, since I logged in with 32-bits client right after those attempts without issue. Haven't really tried the 64-bits more since then.

    Same Issue, Can play fine with 32-bit client, launch 64-bit and after choosing my character I crash. System fully up to date. Have tried several times since last patch and it still crashes after char. select.

    I also continue to have this issue, although I don't even get to character select. So far, technical support hasn't been very helpful. They have several suggestions like disabling all add-ons, but none of those worked. The guy who responded to my ticket wrote that he was going to escalate it to someone else, but its been a week and I haven't heard anything. Has anyone been able to fix this?
